I absolutely love your reviews! And thank you so much for posting your out of pocket costs. I have to tell you, my jaw is dropping and my mind is boggling at how much people end up paying, even WITH the dining plan.
I enjoy a good cocktail, and after reading this, I am thinking that I need A LOT more spending money, LOL.

Wednesday 18th August
Hello there! Today we were heading back to EPCOT! We ended up at Sunshine Seasons for some brunch - it was busy but we managed to get our food at the various stations. Simon and I had the breakfast - yummy!: ![]() Sarah had the child's breakfast which was french toast: ![]() Kate was the only one to have non-breakfast food - she had the ham and salami sandwich: ![]() I think this must have been her dessert: ![]() The food was all very tasty and gave us the extra energy we needed to have more fun in EPCOT. Here I am enjoying a Mickey premium bar: ![]() We explored future world and then headed to World Showcase for our ADR at Nine Dragons. We were excited to try a World Showcase restaurant - we picked Nine Dragons because Sarah particularly liked chinese food and she had been good about us indulging our passion for spicy food at Sanaa and Jiko. The restaurant is beautiful with great Chinese theming. It was busy with lots of families eating in there - but that's not something we mind. In fact, it adds to the atmosphere and it's not like we were there for a romantic meal! Each place is set with crayons and a placemat you can practise your chinese lettering with. So we had great fun colouring while we waited for our food: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We shared a couple of appetisers - prawn toast and pot stickers. Sorry - I can't find any photos of these, but they were absolutely delicious! Especially the prawn toast - it was deep fried, not and crispy. Yummy! Next up, Sarah and I both had the honey chicken: ![]() This was huge! I know I say that about everything, but this really was! It could have filled both Sarah and I up easily. The chicken was delicious, in crispy batter with a lovely honey sauce. I want to lick the screen just looking at it now! I barely touch my rice - I had enough to contend with eating the chicken. I really enjoyed it. Simon had the steak and shrimp (after he'd enjoyed it so much at Yak and Yeti): ![]() Again, he really enjoyed it. The flavours were great. Kate, not being a huge chinese food fan, plumped for the special fried rice - and she was very glad she did: ![]() This was a fantastic, tasty bowl of rice with all sorts of ham, peas, shrimps and chicken in it. She was a very happy bunny! For dessert, Simon and the girls all had ice cream: ![]() ![]() I decided to be different and to try the rice pudding, as I love rice pudding. But I didn't love this rice pudding. It was cold and chewy and just not to my taste.![]() Simon and I enjoyed a tsingtao beer each with our meal - lovely and refreshing! ![]() All in all, we really enjoyed this meal. It was a welcome respite from the heat of the day at EPCOT and our server, Xuan was very attentive and friendly. The food (apart from my rice pudding!) was delicious. We don't often go out for chinese meals in a restaurant at home - we tend to get takeaways - so it was a bit of a treat. I know this restaurant has mixed reviews - but it did the job for us quite nicely! I can't find what the meal would have cost without the free dining (some receipts we got had the total cost of the meal on, some didn't - DDP is really death by receipts!) But we paid $65.05. We paid for the appetisers, the beer and the tip. Crumble rating: 6 out of 10 - not as good as Sanaa, but a good TS option. We'd possible go back - but there are so many other WS restaurants to try! Coming up: We go out of Disney - eek!

Ooh that chicken really does look good!
We can both be quite fussy with some Chinese dishes if they include too many vegetables within the sauce, so this looks perfect! One for the list if we get chance - will have to see about sharing a main! (I would actually feel a bit weird doing that, but I'm sure I've read reports by light eaters who often share one main course when there's only 2 of them) We'll see!

Unfortunately my belly always has room for more, especially dessert - I actually think there's a whole separate part of the stomach reserved for that! I'll be looking like Pooh Bear one of these days! Now don't go writing too much more over the next couple of weeks, I don't want pages and pages to catch up on! Feel free to go wild until next Friday though
