WL vs All star movies in december

This will be our 2nd trip to DW.I am booked dec 10 to 16 th at WL.It will be just myself and DD 11.(My DH doesnt do disney!)We went this past June and it was Hot Hot Hot!So now we r returning when its a more enjoyable temp for us!We stayed at WL back in June and I loved it my DD thought it was just ok,she wasnt really thrilled with the food choices and she thinks the movies resort would be really cool! This trip is a surprise for xmas!I am now rethinking my decision about staying at WL?I love the fact that you can hop on a boat and hit the MK in no time at all!I chose the WL in June for the simple fact of the heat and would be better to be in an enclosed resort. The money difference is pretty significant but I can swing it.(just extra work hrs!)Whatdo you think?I know my questions arent very clear, just wondering what your thought are on my situation TY so much!

I would go with Movies! It might be a nice change and the food court has many choices.

If it is a gift for your DD, I would go with movies if thats the resort she would like to go to. Then, take the extra money not being spent on WL and use it on extra little gifts and things like that for her. Play around with some ideas, almost anything is possible.

^ link to AS Movies food court menu for your DD and you to look at

I would also stay at the WL before any AS resort, like you said it is just an easy boat ride to MK...plus DD and you don't have to eat at the resort, look around for some really neat places for advanced dinning reservations

And you could always look into booking a different deluxe resort, or even any of the moderates

I would do WL. It is a beautiful place, and the Christmas decorations are said to be some of the best on property.

That's tough as it's a gift for your DD. One one hand, I'd consider staying where she wants to stay but having said that- she is 11 and I am sure my 11 y/o's tastes hardly mimic mine with regard to a hotel room. I would choose the WL- one is a Value and one is a Deluxe so it's a really hard comparison.

I would stick with WL but I'm spoiled and try to avoid the value resorts. The beds aren't comfortable to me and the food courts while better than the one at WL, are often overcrowded.

Also Dec 10, 11 and 12 will have Pop Warner People at ASMu and ASSP. Since the 3 All Stars share buses, I'd for sure not want to be at an All Star resort during those days.
