Not sure which i should do... are they still letting you into the park before opening? if yes, is it supposed to stay that way? I want to make sure we take our 3yr old to the disney junior character breakfast.... I just dont know if we should do it first thing or later in the morning (1030) after we have done a few rides

Thanks!

1- Yes, but only by about 10-15 minutes.
2- Who knows?
3- Why worry? Move it to later.

It looks like they are doing away with rope drop for awhile. I would recommend changing to the latest breakfast time as possible. If you are wanting to do Jedi Training Academy, I would suggest you take your son straight there and sending one person as a runner for TSM FPs.

As in all things, Robo is right. If you have any doubts, make your breakfast ADR for later in the morning- 10:00 or 10:30. That will give you plenty of time to get TSMM fastpasses and perhaps even ride it standby before you have breakfast.

Can a 3yr old be apart of jedi training academy? I thought they had to be 4.. Thanks for the advice. I like the idea of doing the later breakfast! however.. I dont really want to be apart of a crazy mob going to tsm =)

Please pardon my acronyms, but for DHS AM EMH do they still open 10-15 minutes early? We are planning on 8:00 am open for EMH in May. What time should we get there to be one of the first ones in?

In my experience, they let people in the turnstiles 15 minutes early, then kept us right before the intersection. Right on time they "dropped the rope" and actually let us go to the attractions.

1- Nope. They don't open substantially early for AM EMH.

2- I'd arrive at least 30 minutes before the the posted opening time on AM EMH days, to be toward the front of the crowd.

Sorry, but that's old info.
They no longer have an "internal rope holding area" at DHS.

What we still don't know is what time they let in NON-WDW Resort guests
into the park on AM EMH days.

I never book early ADRs for EMH morning...kind of defeats the purpose of EMH mornings. I prefer to book an ADR for around 10:30ish...I grab something light in my room before heading to the park, then my 10:30 ADR is more like brunch. I get to do a bunch of stuff before it gets busy, then eat.

I think they are supposed to be 4 years old, but I have seen really small children do it. There is a list of questions they will be asked, but as long as your child can answer them, they should be allowed to participate. I know the list is somewhere here in the forum, I just can't find it right now.

Has there been a new situation regarding early ADRs? If the ADR time is available, then they will let you in early. After your meal, they will stage you outside the restaurant. I understand they don't do the internal RP anymore, but aren't they still doing early ADRs at any of the parks.

We did this character meal on our last trip, our daughter loved it.

They're only letting you in 10-15 minutes earlier. Make the breakfast for later, grab a FP for Toy Story Mania and possibly ride it stand by and head for the Jedi Training. Then go for breakfast.

1- None reported.
2- Yes.
3- Yes. Until park opening time.
(Which can be 10-30 minutes before the posted time, these days.)
4- Yes.
5- Yes. But, since they now are opening DHS (and Epcot) much earlier than before
(and not holding back guests from riding attractions early) then, you can lose that "early advantage" of getting to ride early, if you're stuck in a restaurant
during that early prime riding time.

I would only recommend making early ADRs if you plan to finish breakfast and be ready to power-walk to your favorite attraction at 8:45 AM when they open the park.

And of course, not to do it on a morning EMH day.

Is riding TSM on your top things to do? If so, I would move breakfast for later so you can head over to TSM, grab a fastpass, maybe even ride stand by and get that out of the way before it gets crazy busy. I think a 10am breakfast would work well.
