i would stay away from the july 4th. may be a bit busy. dd has dance down there in june and we realy didnt find it any busier than october. just a tad hotter. but theres a/c and we go at rope drop and head back around noon-1 and go back to the parks around 4. so were not at the parks at the hottest time of the day.

Q. What do you call 53 millionaires around a TV watching the Super Bowl?
A. The Dallas Cowboys

Q. How do you keep a Dallas Cowboy out of your yard?
A. Put up a goal post.

Q. What do you call a Dallas Cowboy with a Super Bowl ring?
A. Old

Q. What's the difference between the Dallas Cowboys and a dollar bill?
A. You can still get four quarters out of a dollar bill.

Q. How many Dallas Cowboys does it take to win a Super Bowl?
A. Nobody remembers.

Q. What do the Cowboys and a possums have in common?
A. Both play dead at home and get killed on the road!

Those are so true, funny and sad. Especially for me, a guy who grew up with the boys when they were THE COWBOYS.

Maybe it's time for a "family emergency"...

You know, an emergency vacation that requires no explanation.

For what it's worth, this is one of the reasons we love homeschooling.

Ok, I think this is kind of funny, so I'll share. We were talking about Halloween here at work and one of the guys who works here has 2 grandsons. He was talking about them and their costumes and said one of them was Bud Lightbeer .... and yes, he really seriously thought it was Bud Lightbeer, and not Buzz Lightyear. He even argued with me when I tried to correct him. Obviously, he said he had never seen Toy Story so I told him there are 3 movies and he needs to do some catching up.

The Police picked up a little boy who had ran away from home. The Police asked the little boy why he ran away from home. He told them that his parents beat him and that why he ran away. When the police asked him who he would like to live with, he said the Dallas Cowboys, because they don't beat anybody.
