Disney Dream Doesn't Have Solid Whitewall Verandahs?!?

We already went yesterday… =D

I didn't get to ride the Tower of Terror because the line was too long, but I did ride California Screamin' and my brother chickened out at the last minute. We went two times on Soarin' and four times on Mulholland Madness… We also watched Aladdin at the Hyperion Theater. The Toy Story Midway Mania had a HUGE line and it took us a little longer than an hour to get to the front! The World of Color was great but I have some complaints about how their crowd control system works…

1. You can't chose a showtime
2. The line for the FastPass is too long
3. The time for the line shown on the FastPass is too early and may tire your legs
4. There are no benches on the queue area
5. There are no benches on the viewing area

The only part I liked is when I saw what ticket we got, YELLOW!!

Was upgraded to a regular one (once - and no nice deck couch seat, rather two chairs, too hotelish....) but does not have the same magic as standing with your arms on the rails and your head and shoulders out of the porthole.......

But then any cabin on DCL is better than no cabin on DCL - right!

On the DCL website put in a date you know the dream will be sailing to the bahamas (I did November 2011 or something like that). When the Stateroom options (with the varying date that month on the left) show up go to the tab that says "staterooms with verandah". Directly next to each category name there is a question mark button. Click on it and at the bottom of the description it says what kind of verandah that particular category has. The
6A and 6B say (copied from site):

"One bathroom includes a vanity, sink and full tub/shower, while the half bath has a vanity, sink and toilet. The private verandah features its own furniture, deck lights, railings covered in solid white walls and the security of child-proof locks."

The category 5 veranda rooms say:

"One bathroom includes a vanity, sink and full tub/shower, while the half bath has a vanity, sink and toilet. The private verandah features its own furniture, deck lights, railings covered in plexiglass and the security of child-proof locks."
