I have emailed DCL about the Solid Whitewall Verandahs and their reply is at the bottom…

WOW!!! It amazes me, looking at the pictures, that they are going to have The Dream done by January!!!!! I'm kind of glad we aren't going until May, so they can test out the seaworthiness and work the bugs out before we go!!

On the DCL website when you click on the question mark next to the description of the 6A's and 6B's it says they will have railings covered in white wall verandas. The description for the verandas on the side of the boat says they will have railings coveres with clear plexiglass. So it sounds like the railings they are currently putting on the back will be covered by the white wall veranda.

the back of the ship, based on the pictures I posted on the last page, looks whole... Wouldn't it look a bit odd if the back are the only whitewalls??

If you look at the other decks, they already have the whole railings installed... but for the top deck, it's cut in the middle... it would look very weird if they did cover the middle, because what would be the point???

Haha...I am sure it would. I really have no idea what they are doing. I have never actually cruised but with all the good reviews surrounding the aft cabins (and having a 180 view) I have really been paying close attention to those for our first cruise so when I saw this thread I went and checked every possible area on the website (because I would LOVE if they ended up being mostly plexiglass) for some info and that is just what it said.

I'm guessing this is only one misinformation that Disney sends out to surprise their guests when they's actually onboard lol...

I'm only hopeful because I'm one of those people in the middle at the top decks (deck 8)....

i suppose, but it would be better to actually get a view even though you don't go out of the stateroom...

I wanna ride Tower of Terror again, ride Screamin' and Maliboomer!!!

My brother (17) is too chicken to ride Rower of Terror and Maliboomer, and I'm 14!!!! LoL..
