Disney will not release numbers of expected park attendance, or how many tickets were sold. They will tell you if something is sold out. They don't release those numbers to the public.

I called this morning to add ME info to my reservation. I was somehow transferred to Grand Gatherings (it is just me and my 2 girls going), but the lady was so nice! Asked me if I needed park tickets, and I told her we were just staying 2 nights and only doing the party. She got so excited, said she took her granddaughter last week, and started going on and on about the fireworks and parade.
It got me even more excited about our trip-4 more weeks!

After reading this thread, I am really regretting not going to the MNSSHP when my kids were smaller. We went several times in November and yanked them out of school. I do not dare do that now since my oldest is in Middle School.
Big time Boo Hoo!

Berlioz...I love your character reports on your website. I followed your Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party report to do my character hunting when I attended one of the parties last year.
I saw that you got in line for the 7 Dwarfs at 6pm. At 6:30pm, did you happen to notice how long the line was? That's what time I was going to start waiting. Thanks!

9/21 I got in line for dwarves at 630pm. Four in front of me at that point. By 645 it was at least three times longer. You could always stop by at 6. And check out the line and do stuff nearby so you can keep watching it.

Could you elaborate on the rotating the costumes throughout the night? I think I saw from pics posted that they are wearing diff costumes in the parade than they are for the meet & greet - is this what you mean?

Thanks so much for the update! It seems so strange it was left off the map but heck, a long as it's open, I'm a happy camper!

![]() I am concerned enough about it to buy our tickets this week! I remember (maybe not last year, but in years past) several of the parties right up to Halloween sold out so we don't want to take a chance. I think the proximity to the weekend for the parties on the 28th and 29th will equate to high popularity. I too hope reports of "no waits" for rides are accurate. When we went to MVMCP (in early Dec. a couple of years ago) the lines were not great until well after the first parade and fireworks 10-11PM or so . Space had an hour line well into the party, Peter Pan was bad too(20 minutes +). The people eater rides(PoC, iasw, HM) had no waits but I would expect a wait on HM during MNSSHP.
