You will not look out of place if not dressed up. I admired a lot of cute costumes, but there were more not dressed up. And costumes ran the gamut from a tee-shirt (like our family) to elaborate outfits. No worries either way.
GetGlowing,
Where are the 7 dwarfs set up? Last year it was Snow and the 7 Dwarfs....I guess no Snow this year? It doesn't look like they are in the same spot as last year. Maybe that will mean less of a line/wait . I also think they didn't start pics until 7:30 last year, cause I got in line REALLY early while the family rode the rides some more thinking she/they would come out at 7:00. I was a bit disappointed, but was NOT getting out of line. I was first, and couldn't pass that up. Anyway, I really want to get the pic. again. Any info on time and location would be helpful. THANKS.

Which characters will not be at their meet and greets during parades or fireworks?

Also, I think I'm going to get in line for the 7 Dwarves before 7 p.m. I think I'll check the line for Cinderella's carriage a couple of times and see when it is shorter. When would be the best time to see Mickey & Minnie and Pooh and Friends? It's kind of hard to swing past for Pooh since he's at the front of the park.

The others at the top of our list for my kids and me, we'll just try to catch as we circle the park.

The Dwarfs are at the Fantasyland Skyway entrance.

Snow White is in Toontown with her Prince.

I think we will start getting a lot more info and pictures in the next week or so. Most people don't have the means to post live updates while they are there but I am sure that when everyone gets back they will be letting us in on all the news. Of course, please feel free to update us on your experience ...

Y'all should have seen my happy dance when I finally saw pictures of Dr. Facilier at the Villains Mix 'n Mingle. Not that I didn't believe he was going to be there, but you know what they say, "seeing is believing". I'm a happy little fangirl.

Also, I am totally in the Halloween mood now that I've been looking at people's pictures as they pop up. I wonder if it's too early to decorate my cube at work...

Reading my statement I think I came across sarcastic. I apologize if I did . I figured their was so much more to do then find out about facepainting. I was a real pleasant surprise when we saw them doing this. We didn't get a chance to get it done because it was close to 12pm. We are hoping to get it done this yr.

We were at the party last night and it was amazing!

I'm sat in Disney Quest waiting to go to the airport for our flight back to the UK now

I haven't done much reading but I saw a question on free facepainting. Yes they were doing free facepainting in toontown cinderella's carriage was up, the dwarfs were out but not with snow but it was still great to see them all.

Hallowishes was amazing! loved that what a great night, enjoy it everyone

Is it wrong or weird that I'm a big, hulking 45yo male and I'm totally pumped to be going to my first MNSSHP on 9/30? I guess that's why my wife says she's raising three kids when we really on have two!

Oh no! I never thought it was sarcastic for a moment - even if it had been meant to be (I know it wasn't), I wouldn't have picked up on it.

Could someone please tell me where I would go if I opt to collect my tickets from Will Call? I have never paid attention to things like that as I have always had whatever tickets I need when I arrive. Is it at the MK or TTC? Sorry for the silly questions. I don't want to risk having them mailed to me at this late stage. Alternatively if you print your tickets out at home, do you have to/can you change them for 'real' tickets and if so, where? I always keep my options open for scrapbook material

What a great thread! Everyone is so helpful!
