American Girl personal shopper

Has anyone went to the American Girl place in Chicago or even New York and had a personal shopper? If so how did it go? It will be our first time and we are so excited! Someone told us to request a personal shopper. Look forward to hearing your advice.. thanks.

They have personal shoppers for American Girl dolls? I can't afford a personal shopper for myself so I doubt I will be spending the money for one for my daughters doll

We need a personal "stop shopper" at the American Girl store. I manage to find many, many things to purchase all by myself--or at least with the help of my daughters!

FYI Personal shopper service is free at AG stores and there is no minimum purchase. We've only ever been to Mpls (which at the time anyway did not have personal shoppers, not sure if they do now.) I'd have welcomed it because, although (or because!) DD only had $30 to spend, she was completely overwhelmed. We could have used a voice of reason, lol.

For more on PS, and everything else AG - check out agplaythings.com.
