For what it is worth, we stayed at both and the 2 do not compare in my opinion. We love CBR,
Thank you!! I will be booking CBR this afternoon.

I completely agree. Stayed at both resorts and CBR is our hands down favorite. Wouldn't stay at CSR again - didn't like the theming or food court. However, there are lots of people that love CSR. I think it really comes down to a personal preference.

It definitely is a personal preference. My biggest complaint about CSR is the size of it (it seems so much bigger than CBR) and the fact you cannot get a preferred room. Our walk from our room to the food court was very long. I agree with you about the theme and the food court. I love the food court so much as CBR, that last year when we were staying at POFQ, we went over to CBR to have lunch.

You can get preferred rooms at CSR; Casitas 1, 2 & 3.

When did that change? When we booked our 2010 trip, I don't remember there being a preferred room category. We were able to put in a request for the buildings near the food court, but could not book that room category.

We do enjoy staying at CBR. We have stayed there a few times in Aruba. We just can't decide where we want to stay this time.

Thanks to everyone for their advice.

Our first trip to CBR was in 2006 and we were able to book a preferred location then...this year is our first visit to CBR without paying extra for a preferred location.

Question Shipping From Walmart

I have been reading a few boards that folks have shipped cases of water, food, juices etc from walmart. Has anyone had a problem getting their items shipped from walmart to CBR? Does anyone know if any of the K-cups they sell online via walmart fits the ones in the resort rooms? I'm also thinking of getting sugar and creamer for a few bucks rather then requesting a bucket-load from mousekeeping since I like my coffee light and sweet. Thanks!!

The coffee makers use more of a pod than a K-Cup, kind of like the Senseo pods. Not exactly, but similar. I loaded up on sugar when we were at OPR and just brought it back to the room.

We drove down, so I can't help with the shipping from Wal-Mart question. Although, the our last trip we flew and I placed an order with Garden Grocer. That was very easy.

From what I have read here on the DIS, Walmart does not ship water, juice, etc to any of the resorts like they used to. Now everyone either uses gardengrocer.com or wegoshop.com

If there is a convention there, the Preferred Rooms at CSR can sell out very early.
