I dont even own a fisheye and I liked the old name better. That, the ultra wide angle cult, the long lens league. All appropriate and fun names

I think of HDR as something created from multiple image files- and this is not so I would say no. Some folks seem to classify anything with that type processing as HDR though- so who knows.

The previous title for this thread was "The Fellowship of the Fisheye" I also preferred it.

Is the Fellowship of the Fish Eye a derivitive of the Fellowship of the ring from Lord of the Rings?

Thanks- I'm glad you liked it. I think that thing making it into Explore was the last straw for me though.

Note that the OP can always change the title of a thread. If Geoff_M wanted, he could change it to "Satisfying both camps: Fellowship of the Photo Sharing: Fisheye"!

)Just to keep on topic, I'll add a shot... hopefully being the last person who shoots fisheye or OWA and doesn't do Topaz-style processing doesn't make me into more of an outcast than I already am! ![]() Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters by Groucho Dis, on Flickr

I know this thread is for posting shots but, I noticed you have the K-5,
How do you like it? Are there great improvements over the k7? Alot of the reviews have this beating out the Nikon D3100 or was it the D3000 in that people are impressed with the improvements over the k7 offerings making the K5 a challenger in the semi pro world. What are your thoughts? you can PM me to keep it off the photo thread... Will hopefully be upgrading from my 20D within the next few months...just cant afford it right now Quote:

Way way OT for the epic Photo sharing: fisheye lenses thread- but yeah I was luke warm on it at best and I posted it because it was turkey day and kid of seemed to fit. Then it made it to Explore on Flickr- which is supposed to highlight the most "Interesting" pictures of any given day. It's kind of a recognition thing I guess and frustrating when you don't feel like it's your best work shown there. I had a handful of other shots in there that were not really my favorites either so I deleted them all- and then kind of purged my photostream in general.
