Arrow Maxwell's 2nd Visit to Disneyland

Sorry for the late report, but life got extremely busy after our June/July trip to Disneyland, Anaheim.

We arrived at the Fairfield Inn Disneyland Resort on South Harbor on June 27th. We are a Rewards member so check in was easy. All we had to do was get a lock box. We had a 2 queen bed room with a convertible chair our 7 year old used for her bed. Rooms were clean and with Disney decor.
Pizza Hut on site. The only thing I did not like about the hotel was the a/c. It would only stay at a certain temperature or the heater would come on.

Walking to the parks was a breeze from the hotel. Although not directly across the street it was about a 5 minute walk each way including wait time at the light.

We purchased the park hopper special 5 days for the price of 3. Well worth it. We went all 5 days although not all long days. We took our time and enjoyed a vacation.

Despite some posts here on the DIS boards about our travel timing, the park was NOT crowded. The parks were full, but not crowded for long wait times at rides. Longest wait time was one hour for Toy Story Mania.

We did prepurchase the picnic lunch and tickets for World of Color. Beautiful show however standing for one hour prior to it starting was not great. Wish Lunch was not that great either. Not "Disney". Wish I had upgraded to the Green section for a better view and meal. But we still had a great time and Lumiere was behind us the majority of the show as we were in the yellow section.

We also had reserved seating June 29th for the Fantasmic Show. Purchased the day of the show at City Hall. We paid approximately $200 for a party of 4. Included seating in front center with a cheese/desert tray and drinks. We had lovely cheeses, chocolates, cookies, crackers, cakes, tarts and various drinks. It was cold that night so we had hot chocolate. It was money well spent for my DD7 favorite show.

June 30th we had reservations for the lunch at Goofy's Kitchen. We made the reservation for our party of four when we arrived on the 27th. Although fun, clean and characters of Chip N Dale, Fairy Godmother, Goofy, Pluto, and Baloo we were expecting lunch. We sat and enjoyed the characters from 11:30-12:45 but only breakfast was served. A bit disappointed there. But breakfast of omelet station, scrambled eggs, sausage, pizza, bacon, various breads and fruit was wonderful.

We decided we wanted some new artwork for our new house. So on the day before we had to leave we went to Disneyland to shop for Art pieces. We stopped at the Disney Gallery located at the Bank on Main Street. We were given great attention and help. We purchased some pieces to cherish for a lifetime! I loved the fact that because we purchased limited edition pieces it was their policy to hold it until we left the park. Helped so much as we decided to go watch Princess Faire.

My highlight though was Aladdin. Beautiful show as last time. We had front row, center seats. The experience was simply amazing.

We loved the weather. Lots cooler than here in Texas. We got to shop prior to our trip for jackets. That helped get the kids in the mood for the trip!!

This was our 2nd trip in 2010 to a Disney Park. We are fortunate to get to plan another for November. first time ever we can make 3 trips in one year!!!
over 50 trips to WDW in 20 years!
