Interesting. Disneyland just changed a menu around and has introduce a fried green tomatoes with sweet potato fries dish. I think we thought we were quite unique, having that at DL! I guess not.

I don't think DL's has the portobellos, but then again they have that dish (with couscous) at Blue Bayou.

And this page has given me 4 new places to put on my list...

I have an ADR there next month, trying to decide whether to keep it or not. We will be a party of 2 vegetarians and 2 omnivores.
As a matter of fact I do!!!

That looks yummy! Hopefully they are awesome about leaving the queso fresco off of stuff. That salad sounds so good!

We love authentic Mexican often. While we found La Hacienda delicious, we didn't find it to be authentic food. I think WDW probably stays away from true Mexican cuisine because people expect more of a Tex-Mex thing and then are surprised when they get authentic Mexican. I thought the menu was creative and not at all what I expected. Maybe it would suit his tastes more.

Has anyone been on a Disney Cruise as a vegan? I recently booked our first Disney Cruise and I'm worried that they won't be as accomodating as the restuarants at WDW. Also I'm wondering if it would be worth it to try Palo or Remy? Has anyone had experience with either of these on the new ship? Any info would be greatly appreciated! I'm having nightmares of eating every meal at the buffet salad bar.... not that there's anything wrong with salad! =)

Thanks for the tip! Normally, the only time I can get my husband to eat anything Mexican is if my aunt is making tamales.

Help!!!!!!

What TS restaurants do you think would be the most accomodating to my daughter's vegetarian diet?

Was hoping for non-buffet and 1 TS credit restaurants since we are doing the dining plan. My husband and son are carnivores and dislike restaurants where you serve yourself. They think it cheapen's the experience.

Where do you want to eat - and what kind of food? If you are going to the Magic Kingdom - the Liberty Tree is a good choice.

1 TS and non buffet - I think your best choice is Tony's for actually in MK.

We had amazing experiences at Mama Melrose, Kouzzina, and Ohana, as well!

Les Chefs definitely has things for a vegetarian...the Mac and Cheese is one of their top sellers. We're trying the Wave for the first time next month, but I've heard great things about all the fresh veggies they offer. Sorry I can't help you with the others, since I've never been, but I would think Tutto's, as an Italian restaurant, would definitely have meatless pastas!
