Yes, I forgot to add that for anyone with a larger bust or plus size, even men's tanks can be a great way to hide the tummy without adding thick layers.

Hi there! So excited to have found this thread, I'm a huge breastfeeding advocate! I haven't read through the whole thing, so sorry if this has been asked, but has anyone had any experience nursing an older toddler in WDW?

My old maternity t-shirts work well for this. DD just burrows the top half of her body inside my shirt and we're good to go.

I'm sure I'll be nursing my dd2 there in July, so I'll give a report when I get back. She turned 2 last Sat, and is not even thinking about slowing down:D.

I just found this thread (I normally just go to the community board). I'm an Orlando-area local, and I have nursed nearly everywhere at WDW, from newborn to 30 months. Currently breastfeeding my second child, who is 10 months. I have had nothing but positive experiences with the cast members (other guests is another story...). I like to use the Baby Care Centers to get out of the heat and noise, but I will nurse anywhere and everywhere. I use a Hooter Hider or sling as a cover, or now that I'm more experienced at it I can discreetly nurse in any old t-shirt. Anyway, I haven't gone through all 52 pages, but let me know if you have any questions!

Hi Dis Mommas! I am not currently BFing, but I did nurse DS (2) until he was 19 months old, including during our trip last June. He was 13 months at the time, so he was really only nursing in the mornings and at night by then, but he did ask for it a few times during the day and we just found a quiet bench to sit on. I never thought of feeding him on some of the rides! We are currently trying for number 2, so I will keep this in mind! I am sure we will be at the world while nursing again!

This is a great thread! I am no longer breastfeeding but having breastfed all 4 of my kids just about anywhere I would have loved to have read this sooner. Love these tips! I have passed some of the info. along to friends of mine who are breastfeeding now. Thanks for sharing!

Question

My SIL will be BF'ing and will need to pump some. Does anyone know if the freezer part of the fridges at Pop are big enough to store the medela 2.5 plastic storage containers?

Bottles or bags? I don't know about the freezers specifically at POP but most mini fridges have a pretty small freezer. Can she use the bags during her stay to maximize space if she's not already?

Well I can tell u where u should not BF!!

One day at DHS Dh and the other 2 went on Star tours and I found a real nice bench area, no one was by and started BF, not even noticing there was ash trays around. I was getting funny looks from a few as I sat there and then I noticed, I was in a smoking section! The only place around there to sit in the shade was the smoking section! OPPS!!! Dh came out we had a good chuckle and went on the way!

I loved the baby care centers. Chatted with a few moms, it was relaxing!

I am actually sad I will not be BF this next trip as it was a good excuse to sit down and ppl watch!

She uses the bottles. Our main concern is her getting a cold and having to take medicine while she is there. If we have some reserve BM then it would make us feel better. Plus if my MIL decides to stay at the resort with the baby for a few hours while we all go to the park, she would need some milk.

If the freezer compartment is too tiny, how long would BM keep in an icechest?

I'm not sure I would trust the inconsistent temps of a cooler. But that may just be me. The "rule" is 6 hours at room temp, 6 days in a fridge, 6 months in the freezer (the amount of time can vary depending on who you ask, lol). Also, I totally understand someone watching baby while mom's at a park, but the cold medicine isn't a problem. There's lots of meds that are safe to take while BF. Here's a link to a site that has great info: http://www.kellymom.com/health/meds/...medy.html#meds

Also, I've seen others say that it's possible to "rent" a bigger fridge from the resort, so that's a possibility, too.
