LUAU at the Polynesian
We were four adults and two rug rats (grandkids 4 and 5) Called four weeks before our vacation (May 8th to the 15th) got first tier seating. It is more expensive but worth it so the kids can be up front.
After being seated, they bring out your drink order..Beer, lite beer, three different types of wine, soda, milk and coffee. Whatever you want. We did change to soda half way thru ... Then they bring out the large metal holders with bread, fresh pineapple, and salad with mango dressing...plenty for everyone and if you wanted more they would bring it out... Entertainment during this time while others are still getting drink orders and situated.... Main course was bbq ribs, polynesian rice, veggies and chicken that was fantastic....everyone had their fill and again if we wanted more they would bring us more. Our grandkids also had a hot dog, and ate all that and some of the adult fare....I saw some other kiddos with mac and cheese and chicken nuggets....so if your little ones want something different ASK.... Besides the entertainment ...this meal was fantastic and even though it was pricey ...we would go again...... Almost forgot the dessert part.......the waiters and waitresses come out with a volcano blowing up smoke.....very big production and then they bring out volcano chocolate mousse dessert....very rich but very very good

Thanks for the review, so many bad reviews of this show but we are still happy to be going for the first time in October. Found that we often like places others don't and vice versa.

if one of your kids maybe wont care for the veggies or rice part...ask for the alternatives for kids.....mac and cheese, chicken nuggets and or hot dogs....the kids devoured the hotdogs and loved the chicken

Sounds yummy! We haven't done this for a long time, and will have to plan it for our next trip.
