Just gotta vent!

We were charged twice for our last day at WDW. Seriously. They have majorly overcharged us at the wrong rate too. I want to bang my head against the wall. No receipt was sent out for the incorrect charges - the correct charges were sent to my email.

Did both charges go through completely? Sometimes if you use a debit card you'll see two but one is the authorization and it eventually falls off. I would call the bank to double check. If in fact they did double charge you then call immediately for a refund. In my 20 years of going to WDW it has only happened to me one time. I called and they profusely apologized for the errors and ended up sending me back BOTH charges. So my whole trip was free. I'm not saying that will happen, but Disney doesn't like it when they make mistakes. LOL

Since it's obviously a mistake, you need to call Disney and discuss. Disney, as PP said, is very fair and accommodating when they make a visitor accounting error. No need to vent.

How long has it been since the actual (not a pending) charge showed up? I'd call asap after the real charge is on your online statement.
Gather your information together and call. It can be a bit of a time consuming process, but I've found Disney will work with you to find (and correct) the error.

It was Christmas Eve / Day. I checked the Disney Visa charges and that was how I found it. They are sending everything over for me to review by the end of business today so I can help compare them. They were nice about it.

It is still a shock to open your statement and see an unexpected $900 on there!!!

This happen to me back in 2005 at the GG RPC. They double charge me three times. I saw it before I checked out. This was before they sent you the bill. Corrected it but when I got home it was on my credit account. I called Chase and they said to call GF back which I did. They said oops and was suppose to credit me back the mamount but they charged again. I call Chase again and filed a claim. They took their time but got it right. Took them about a month. Lucky for me I had all my paper works. The GF even charged me for things not even was us which I told them there. Even talked to a manager.

Good luck. I prefer looking at my bill before I leave just in case there is an error. Fix there than at home.
