What food is not included with the cruise price?

I know alcoholic beverages are not included, nor special restaurants like Palo and Remy (a surcharge pp.) but are there any food items/snacks on the ship that I need to budget for?

What's not included in the price?

They sell snacks outside the theaters such as candy, popcorn, and canned soft drinks. I don't know how much they cost because I didn't even consider buying any since there is so much free food on board.

Soda from room service. But why would you do that when there is all that free soda on Deck 9?

Pre packaged snacks from room service cost too, but there are lots on there NOT prepackaged. We've NEVER paid for any food or snacks in two cruises (other than Palo) Since there is SO much food and snacks you don't have to pay for (fruit platter, crackers and cheese, Mickey Bars, Sandwiches, cookies ect....)

Tipping room service a few dollars, but most on room service is "free" (except for canned soda, packaged candy/snack).

So much food!
Maybe bring pre-packaged snacks for excursions as you are not suppose to bring open food off the ship in most ports.

My DH sometimes gets their gummy candy at the theater

So when you look at the room service menu does it spell out for you which items are free and which have a charge?

As to the room service menu specifying what is extra...

I think it is there

but helps if you know to look for it.

Canned soda, packages of candy or pop corn, bottles of wine, champagne or cider are all extra on room service.

Majority of food is included in the cost of the cruise though.
Sandwiches, soup, entrees, cookies, cake, mickey bars, cheese tray, etc.-all included (tip is extra). Coffee, tea, milk, juice(?) all included.

If you want soda-like a previous poster said, it is best to go up to deck 9 and get it for "free".

Oh, if you want a case of water that is extra too. But we liked the filtered water from the drink station on deck 9.

Thanks! We didn't order any room service last time because even though I had heard some of it was free I didn't know which, I wish they wrote it right on there. My budget is a bit larger this trip so I guess hubby can splurge on a soda from room service if he wants!

REMEMBER, although MICKEY BARS are NOT indicated on the room service menu, you CAN order them from Room service. My kids ordered one every night before bed on the Wonder last fall!
