Just thought I would post that my father passed away this afternoon at 2:05pm. I am sad yet happy he no longer has to suffer!

I lost my dad about a year and a half ago after a long decline and in the end I found it increasingly difficult to see him in that facility. I remember being relieved when he did pass - and then guilty about feeling relieved. Lots of emotions. Hope you are left will all good memories.

Katherine I send you the hugest of hugs and my deepest sympathy. Even when the road hasn't been perfect or easy, the loss of a parent is still a profound experience. I'm so glad you were able to be with him at this time and to achieve a sense of peace. I now raise my metaphorical glass in a toast to you and your father, and to love of friends and family.

The Fedex man showed up with a parcel!  It is the ABD DVD with the code inside for or pictures!
