I have The Little Mermaid on DVD now, but I still have my first-release VHS because I cannot bear to part with the hilarity that is the phallic castle turret!

I just returned from Disney. While there I looked for Weird-Odd-Strange-Disturbing things to take pics of so I could post them here. Sadly I couldn't find a thing! Until one night I returned to my room to find some interesting towel art....

Of course the mousekeeper couldn't leave the toilet paper out of the act...

I've never seen that particular "style" of towel art before. Thanks for posting.

We arrive today for 11 nights; I'm sure I'll see something that fits in perfectly here...

Wouldn't doubt it. I went to Catholic HS and when we took a field trip to Dorney Park one year some of the sisters were on the roller coasters with the kids, and they wore (still wear) the black-and-white habits. There is a book out with pictures of nuns in the 40's and 50's in full habits on rides, swings, etc. it's called "Nuns having fun." Nuns are people too.

Oh, I wasn't implying nuns can't have fun. My father was a Protestant minister and that was one of the biggest misconceptions - that his life revolved around the church. Well, it did but he was also a rabid sports fan, history buff and memorabilia collector who loved amusement parks (and Disney). So I know nuns enjoy themselves just as much as, uh.. non-nuns. I was just getting a visual of the habit flying upwards, and then I was wondering how it would stay on her head, and... yeah. I'll shut up now

I would have to by that ride picture just for the nun. LOL!
I too went to Catholic school and some of the nuns get really wild.

I didn't even get that visual until now

my first thought actually was how wonderful it was to see a nun in her habit, a rare occurance nowadays
