I totally agree about the giant dionysian head, or whatever it is at POFQ and it is the exact reason I would never choose to stay there. Look kiddo's there's a giant 'god' of drunkenness head...um..yeah.

Everytime I see a picture of the castle done this way I hope and pray that the "genius" behind it's career in the company was short lived......definitly disturbing!!!

I thought these would be very "in your face" at POFQ and had concerns, but went ahead and stayed there anyway. Until this thread, I had forgotten about them. In our two trips there, I honestly don't remember if I saw them or not. They certainly didn't make an impression. I didn't think the Mardi Gras theme was overdone. the resort is very peaceful and has lovely landscaping, lots of green and flowers. I'm really hoping that they don't turn the resort into a Princess and the Frog theme when they begin the refurb later this year.

Very interesting. I went to Disneyland Paris about 4 years ago. I noticed that the CM's just didn't "get it." Nothing really bad or rude....but they didn't fully understand the whole "on stage" concept. Guess it's just not part of their culture.

I can't EVEN imagine seeing this at WDW or DL.
