Help me price used baby items for sale?

I have two friends at work who are interested in the baby items I am planning to sell. They were used for just one child and all are in good condition (the swing was only used once but since it's in pieces I didnt feel right asking for more).

But I dont know if I am pricing too low or too high. Can anyone advise?

This is what I have and what I was thinking of selling them for:

Graco Pack n Play with sheet - $15

Graco swing, no directions, all completely taken apart - $5

Evenflo Exersaucer - $15

Fisher Price Ocean Wonders vibrating bouncy seat - $15

Am I too low, too high, just right?

Those prices seem about right to me. I think I paid $15 last summer for that same used bouncey seat. You might be able to get a bit more for the pack-n-play.

Perhaps checkout craigslist to compare prices.

I sold a lot of my old baby stuff on Craig's list. I got about $50 each for my pack and play and baby swing (full size) and the other prices sound about right. I too would check CL to see what others are going for.

They seem reasonable to me too. We bought a bunch of used stuff at yard sales to keep at the grandparents' houses, and never paid more than $10 for anything...but the items we bought were probably more worn than yours!

I think your prices are low. I agree with searching craigslist to find the going rate for similar items in your area.
It's harder I think to sell to friends/coworkers, at least for me, I would feel like I should offer the item for less. I probably would not have mentioned the items for sale and just sold them on craigslist.
Anyway, though...I would say based on items I have sold and prices around here for items in very good conditon used by one baby..

pack n play with sheet $30
exersaucer $20
bouncy seat $15 - this seems priced right
baby swing - I would put it back together or go to graco website and print directions(if you can) and then sell it for $30

Good luck!

I think you are a little low, especially if the items are in good condition. We sold our pack n play last year for $50 (but it came with a changing table feature and basinette insert). I am thinking we might have been able to get a little more for it, my friend sold hers at the same garage sale for $50 also, and the person who bought it said that they are really hard to find used ones in good condition (at least in our neck of the woods!).

As long as they are all in really good condition that seems a little low. I recently went to a used sale here where I live and most of the pack n plays were at least $30 or more (if its one with a few bells/ music vibertor I would say you could get $35-40. The excausier I would do $20-25. Bouncy seat is a good price in fact thats what I paid for my used one in excellent condition. I agree with the PP that print the directions from the Graco swing and put it together and also if it was one of the ones that retails for 120+ you could priced used at $25-$30 or even a lil more... there was a swing at the sale that DH and I really wanted it was the one you could turn so it swung two ways and it was selling for $45 (someone had already purchased it)
Hope this helps

This is what I have and what I was thinking of selling them for:

Graco Pack n Play with sheet - $15 TOO LOW! You should ask at least $25 for that.

Graco swing, no directions, all completely taken apart - $5

Evenflo Exersaucer - $15 I'd probably say $10, depending on the bells and whistles

Fisher Price Ocean Wonders vibrating bouncy seat - $15

The way I figure things when I price stuff for sales, is figure out how much I'd be willing to pay to buy it from someone else, then add a couple of dollars.

Good luck!
