What lovely pictures from the Safari! We love the giraffes and the elephants. I could watch them all day long.

After all this time, we have never caught a glimpse of Divine. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled next month.

Great safari pictures. I could go on a safari every day and be quite happy.

So, Dallas is allergic to peanuts? It seems like I hear of more and more kids with that allergy now-a- days. When we were kids, everyone ate PB & J sandwiches. I wonder what's changed to where so many kids are allergic to peanuts, now? I know that can be scary. I know one parent who told me her daughter can't even handle eating food that's been near crushed peanuts, because some of the peanut "dust" could get in the other food.

Oh I know you wouldn't do it, and there were times Dale and joked about it too.

Yes Dallas had a peanut allergy. We found out when he was about 2 or so. He was eating a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup and all of a sudden his face was blood red and he started having some stridor, so I gave him some benadryl and took him to the doctor. She said a peanut allergy is common and it is also the one that people do NOT outgrow . So my poor baby has never had a peanut butter cookie, or a pb & j sandwich, or peanut butter pie.....yummmmmmmmm. If he doesn't know, he will ask if the food he is eating has peanuts in it, and he has been asking that since he was about 3. So now I carry benadryl and an epi pen with me just in case . While we were at Disney, last July 4th, we ate at the Plaza, and he had his own personal Chef. They really went out of their way to make sure he got what he wanted to eat and not have peanuts anywhere near his food.

Love the AK pictures . I can't wait to get there and take some pictures with my new camera . Dinosaur is my favorite ride at AK . Dallas isn't crazy about it, but he rides it if he has to. I don't do Everest at all, I told Dale there isn't enough money in the world to make me get on it .

I have learned my lesson -- I will not comment on the elephant hineys!

That vista of savannah is one of my favorite parts of the safari!

Great safari pics Michelle! Can't wait to see the Dinosaur pic! I have the one of Lindsey on her first ride which sounds very similar to Meg's. I have a vision in my head already of what this pic may look like.

Great safari pics! I can't wait to see this cliffhanger picture!!

Peanut allergies are a tricky thing! My kids go to a nut free school which was tough at first because they would love PB&J for lunch but we have learned to find alternatives. My cousins-wifes-brother (did you follow that one?) once almost died because he asked for sprinkles at Dairy Queen and the kid working took the spoon out of the nuts to dip into the sprinkles, just the tiny bit of oil that transferred was enough to send him to the ER!

And to the OP, great safari pictures! Love the baby giraffe, too cute.
