What I Wore Recently
Just got back 10/8-10/10. WDW was hot! And sunny. I wore Junonian cargo shorts (unfortunately you can't buy them anymore) in light twill and QuikWik biker underware. This worked exceedingly well! No chafing between the thighs. And I noticed at Magic Kingdom one of the CMs wearing a dress had on bicycle shorts underneath. (she was sort of dancing to the music and twirling her dress) I laughed and said, "Love your bicycle shorts" and then she flashed me.

Spirit Airlines Airbus
I just got back and was lucky to depart in The Big Front Seat but had to fly regular/econo home. Spirit airlines (who has to be the greediest airlines ever) is now cramming 3 seats on both sides of the aisle. Even normal sized people are uncomfortable! So avoid Spirit airlines unless you can pay extra and get The Big Front Seat (which there are only 4 on the Airbus). Extremely uncomfortable 2.5 hour flight.

Returned on Friday night from a 6 night trip at WDW & stayed at VWL
I am 5 foot 10 inches and my weight is 269#. I fit into every ride at MK & Epcot~the only two parks we went to. We swam on Saturday and went to DTD that evening, did I mention we drove all night to arrive on Sat because we have a 13 hour drive. We went to MK on Sunday we opened the park at 9 and closed it at 11. On Monday we hung out at the pool and went to Hoop Dee Doo Review. On Tuesday we went to MNSSHP at 4 and left at 12. On Wednesday we we hung out by the pool and went to DVC Welcome Home Wednesday along w/ dinner at Artist Pointe. On Thursday we we went to Epcot we opened the park at 9 and closed it at 9. On Friday we had breakfast at Kona and began the treck home. I was tired but I came home w/ no blister, no skin break downs, no heat stroke, and so on... I didn't do anything special. I wore Lands End mesh treckers, Lands End treckers, or Nike slides. I wore whatever shorts I had in my dresser that varied in length ranging between finger length to Bermudas along w/ a jean skort. I wore tee shirts and tops. I think the tops were primarily Wal-mart's Just My Size. I wore swim suits that were a few years old from One Stop Plus (online). My undies were Just My Size and my bras were Bali. My socks were Hanes. I wore Secret Deodorant- Sports/ Water Proof. I wore Coppertone sunscreen. I wore my forever old visor until I bought a pink mickey visor. I wore my $5 sunglasses from Wal-mart because typically I don't wear sun glasses unless I'm sitting at the soccer field. I may be very Pooh size but I'm lucky enough not to have all the skin break down. I work w/ people in nursing, personal care, psychiatric hospitals, and so on and the same recommendation is to use Aquaphore that can be purchased at a pharmace/ Wal-mart. I had a tube but never opened it. I did use Blistex on my lips. Good luck all of you Pooh size gals. Hopefully, you all will have my great luck!

No matter if you are Pooh sized or not blistex or other lip protection is a good idea, I have an inexpensive chapstick with aloe, it prevents sunburn on my lips. With my sensitive skin, I do get sunburned lips occasionally while watching my son play soccer.
Just thought I would add that tip, can not remember if it was added already.

Just got back from the World and wanted to reassure my fellow pooh sized people that Disney is definitely Pooh friendly- I got on every ride with no problems at all whatsoever.. and did not need a seatbelt extender on Jet Blue either!
Yay! I am 5'5" and weighed 245 when we left for Disney (I lost 5 lbs+ just with all the walking- and this is with a dining plan! )

I second the Target bag - I found a messenger style bag in the purse section that is absolutely perfect (I have a very large bust). It cost 16.99

Did read the entire thread. Most in the first few pages were for women it seemed... So sorry for the repeat question if this is one.
![]() Can anyone provide foot wear for my DH?? He is over 6'2" and 250. May not seem Pooh size for his height, but he is about 50lbs more than what he should be. He has always had foot issues when walking distances even when he was 180lbs, but it is worse now. We are leaving end of November, so it will still be sandal weather for him. (Not me though! ) A good gym shoe recommendation would be nice as well. ![]() Thanks! ![]()

My husband swears by Crocs & Sketchers. He gets the Sketchers in wide even though he doesn't have wide feet.
