I never have until I bought the no wire one. I love it. It just "feels" better. Maybe we should move this convo over to the women's tips board.

I received my Baggallini messenger bag from Amazon yesterday. Strap is definitely long enough. I've read that some well-endowed women have problems with the strap, but I don't fall in the well-endowed category, so it's fine for me.

Based on what I've read on various message boards and websites, I shouldn't have a problem on most rides. However, I'd love to hear about experiences from people with similar dimensions to mine.

Thank you to all that have posted their stories. They have helped relieve my anxieties!!!!
I am not that much smaller than you. I am 5'4" and wear a size 26, my butt and thighs are my biggest problem(o.k they're huge) and I too am not at all well endowed (I hate how all the plus size stores sell bras only for well endowed ladies because they assume evryone that is big has a big chest). We went to Disney in Feb and I rode everything except:

-Splash mountain(closed for refurb) but I have ridden it many times before
-astro orbiters(because I just don't like it) i have ridden it once before no problems
-Kali River Rapids(too cold on AK day)ridden it many times before
-Rockin Roller Coaster(just wasn't feelin it) never rode it at all
-mission space( not my thing) never rode it

*I have ridden everything else in Disney without any issues. you will have no problem so don't worry. Dinosaur can be a little tight but just pull the seat belt all the way out before you sit down, also do this with soarin'.

I'm around the size of the original quoted person (can't figure out how to do double quotes) but I do have the football shoulders and chest to go with it.. I've only had size issues with two things at Disney: the design-your-own-coaster at Disney Quest and the Sum of All Thrills at Innoventions in Epcot. They just did not work, but that was the way it was with anyone in certain sizes. My hubby (180, 5'6") was fine on the Disney Quest ride but couldn't get the Sum of All Thrills harness to click when we were there last year...

Rockin' Roller Coaster I fit fine, and Mission Space: Green (non-spinning) was fine (but if you're at all claustrophobic ditch it). I Disney because I can actually fit all the rides and the coasters, and I don't have to worry about things not fitting right- I just have to quest for Disney clothes that fit!

At some of the older attractions I did have to turn sideways a bit to get through the queue counter because of my hips, but there were a lot more people sideways than me, and a lot more people that thought they would have to be!

The nice thing is that for most of the coasters and newer rides (RnR, EE, etc.) they have test seats in a corner somewhere that you can try out and see if you're comfortable in- just ask a cast member. Allearsnet.com also tells you what sections to ask for as well- make sure you follow that and you'll be set!

Thanks for your advice. I've decided I'm just gonna psych myself up and try everything. I can either feel embarrassed and have no fun, or bite the bullet and potentially have a great time. I do plan on asking the various CMs advice on any rides about which I have concerns. I may not end up not being able to ride everything, but I'm sure I can ride most things.

I will not let small setbacks spoil my fun.

Book Junkie & Mouse by Marriage?

I think we are about the same sizes. I rode everything I wanted last year with no problems but didn't get to ride Space Mountain bc of the refurb and I'm a little worried about fitting in it. Have either of you ridden it (or anyone else around a size 24-26) since the refurb? How are the seats? What about tall, big guys? DH is 6'4 340ish (very football player build) and I really want us to both be able to ride. Do they have a test seat?

I'll give an update when I get back. We'll be there Jul 26-Aug 3.

I haven't been on since the refurb (it was down during our stress trip last year) but I don't think they changed the seats all that much; from my understanding they redid the tracks and changed the show part of it. I had no problem fitting in it (did hug the hips a bit but doesn't everything? ) but the bar came down without a problem. We did go to the smoother side (I think it's right- check the ride threads I'm sure someone's mentioned it) so as not to get bumped around. Only issue I had is that I have a very bad habit of crossing my feet at my ankles and the seats were low, so I had to grab the seat back to get up. :-) I also saw tall, big guys getting on, they just made sure that they took the front seat (and the CMs made sure that they were pointed towards that area as well). There wasn't a test car when we were there in 2007 (which is the most recent time we rode at WDW) and there wasn't one at DL's version either when we went in 2008. I was actually hoping the refurb at WDW would have been to make it more like DL's version, but from reports I'm guessing not.

The only thing I'd worry about with your sweetie is his legs- the restraint is a lapbar, not a shoulder one. Ask specifically for him to be in the front car, and I bet he's fine.

There's a women's tips board??

Ok, I went into every forum to locate it, and checked out some sub-forums and just cannot find it...

Would someone point the way please?

Suggestions for shoes??

Does anyone have suggestions for shoes during the summer at Disney. I am a new annual passholder and I would love to get something to wear during the summer. I need support since I am "pooh" sized. Tennis shoes are too hot any good sandals that offer a lot of support?

People either love them or hate them, but I LOVE my crocs. I have six pairs that I rotate through. They will get the ultimate test at Disney. However, a couple of years ago, I wore them walking several miles around NYC, and they were the only reason my feet and knees survived.

I am also a crocs lover - I prefer the Crocs Off Roads or Scutes. The Off Roads have more support and the Scutes have a double layer sole so its extra cushiony - found this out when I had a bout with plantar fascitis. I found even the Caymans have better support than the beaches for me...but everyone is different!!

For Disney, I purchased Ace Boating Crocs (http://www.crocs.com/crocs-ace-boati...footwear-sport) and I really like the non-skid outsole. I thought this would help prevent any accidental falls during the daily rain showers in Florida. Also, the support is a little firmer than the Beach, which I think will be better.

Wow! I wrote down so many web site to check out from this thread! I don't know what bag to bring (in 2 weeks) for my first adult trip since kids. I also hate getting sweatty and having a damp bra. I have bot been able to wear flip flops (something between my big toe and the 2nd toe) since I was a very young child, they always were so very uncomfortable and even hurt my toes. Two weeks ago a friend of mine took me to JC Pennys for adidas flip flops, but 1 get the 2nd pair for 44 cents. I was in such pain walking around the mall that night-I kept thinking why did I buy these horrible flip flops. The next morning I slipped them on the take the garbage out quickly and they were not sooo bad. I have not put any other shoes on since then-I love them. BUT I cannot walk fast or they are not feeling the best. I think I will bring them for atleast the airports and pool. I need to always carry another pair of shoes and keep switcing them during the day, I also CANNOT let my shoes of any kind get wet, I walked barefoot from Epcot to DHS in 2008 during a rain of about 2 hours.
