We took our twin babies to disney when they were 7 months old, 13 months old, 18 months old, etc. I'd highly recommend a resort with easy access to some parks. You will appreciate being able to leave your stroller outright with supplies packed in it and baby happily sitting in it. The baby won't care which parks you frequent, so make this trip about the adults. Choose either a monorail resort or an Epcot resort so you can get around easily and relax. If you choose a monorail resort, you will have MK and Epcot to get to easily with your stroller. If you choose an epcot resort, you can walk to both Epcot and HS. We also enjoy the walk thru Epcot to catch the monorail to MK. When our kids were babies, we had a lot of time to burn so this was really fun to us. We'd stop along the way and buy some snacks and simply enjoy the walk.

how long a walk from BC to EPCOT then through EPCOT to monoral to MK.... just trying to imagine as we may attempt a MK ropedrop... but then you prob can't get through EPCOT, right?

I would pick the CR hands down. It is the only monorail resort where even if you don't stay in the main building, you still have a completely covered walkway. Perfect in case there are some afternoon showers. The CR has some of the best rates of the monorail resorts. If you decided to stay in the gardenwing (very quiet) request a first floor room so you have a patio. We have stayed at all 3 and the CR is ALWAYS our first choice.

if epcot happens to have EMH that morning you'd be fine otherwise no go... i'd say all totalled it would take about 1/2 an hour... depending on the wait for the monorail...

We like AKL or Poly, both offer something for toddlers. With a younger child then anywhere is fine to stay.
