First run movie question....

Are first run movies ever shown prior to their release? I'm just wondering if Tron Legacy will be shown on the cruise.

I don't think they'll show it on our cruise. More than likely they will have a "PremEAR at Sea" on the day it's released. My friends were on the Magic the day "Up" premiered and went to a midnight showing onboard.

First run movies are not shown before they are released. As Lori mentioned, they will show Disney movies at midnight when they are released, but not early.

We did it Disneyland, in the knowledge that most of the people I talked to thought it would be a financial disaster - closed and forgotten within the first year. Walt Disney
