Just Curious...

Which did you think was better Sci-Fi or 50's Prime Time?

I have ADR's for both and need to get rid of one. I'm just not sure which one!!!

Entree-wise, I enjoy Sci-Fi Dine-In's Seared Tofu much more than 50s Prime Time's Roasted Pepper. And you can get fries and great, non-dairy milkshakes at both. So considering those two things, I would have to pick Sci-Fi!

I just got back and had dinner at both. 50's Prime Time no longer offers the stuffed pepper and they had really nothing to offer vegans! The chef was really nice, just a bit clueless on what vegans eat. The pasta had egg, so my kids couldn't eat that. I got a big salad and it wasn't very good. My kids got sauteed veggies and rice, my daughter refused to eat.

Sci-Fi was awesome! The seared tofu is delicious (I ordered it without the mango sauce) and they were much more accommodating.

I hope that helps you.

They got rid of the stuffed pepper?! I wonder if they'll be replacing it with another vegetarian option sometime soon?

I'm not sure. The chef was really nice, but it didn't seem like he knew what vegans even eat. He told me he had to go next door to another restaurant to get the mixed salad greens!
I was really hoping to try the stuffed pepper, so I was bummed when he told me they were no longer making it.

It's like for every step forward we go two back. I sure wish they would have kept it. Hopefully they get another option.
