The 26th works for me too!! Maybe a list with who can make it that date on the first post. That way us OCD peeps can keep track.

i guess i now have no choice but to skip out on the conference...
sort of an offer i can't refuse...

i may well bring along my mom and sister, who are also attending the conference...

sounds like a depressing conference, but really it isn't at all...very uplifting and informative

anyway, i'll probably bring along my mom and sister to the meet...
they're not only non-podcast people, they're pretty much non-disney people (and have made fun of me since i was first overcome by disneyholism when i visited disneyland for the first time 40 years ago,when i was 15)...
anyway....if they look at us a bit strangely, you'll know why...

but they're really nice, so i can forgive them their lack of disneyholism...

I will be there with my mom June 21-30. I'd love to meet up on June 26th (as that seems to be "the date" right now). Just keep us posted on the when and where.

Another way to put off University work!

Is morning, afternoon or evening a preference? Anyone got any good ideas where to hold it? Do people want to stick to the traditional Dole Whips or go somewhere else?

If I am not on for the promise of a hug Kevin whilst waiting in the corner, I will be forced to breach USA customs and bring some haggis. They have a nasty bite

I am not sure whether the troops or DW will join in as they are somewhat scared that there are Disney freaks (I mean fans) like me. Although with others coming I will try to persuade them that normal people will also be there

I like the idea of a late morning or afternoon dole whip. We could always have a collective jolly on the Jungle Cruise or POTC before parting.

Given that this is only our 2nd trip I am sure others will come up with great ideas. Catching up with DISers/DISUnpluggers is good enough for me whatever is decided

The boyfriend has promised to come to the park and say hello, although he might go wandering on his own for a while if he doesn't know what to say (it's his first time bless him!

)

I haven't given him podcasts to listen to yet, mainly because he wouldn't understand the content, and because I don't want to ruin the magic of the first time visit (well anymore than I have done already through my excessive jabbering!)

Anyway, he loved Disneyland Paris, so I am hoping he likes Florida just as much!
