Mickey Mouse Birkenstocks on QVC

(I did a search but didn't find anything. Sooooo...)

I flipped on the T.V. and saw these shoes and thought I would pass it along. I know people are always wondering what shoes would be good to wear on a trip to Disney, and I know that there are people who really love (and recommend) their Birkenstocks.

And, AAFES online (the military exchange catalog) has the Mickey/Minnie Birkenstock sandals (slides) available for women, but only up to size 9. I requested a special order of a 10 (41 European) and they claimed they couldn't order them nor any other style of Mcikey/Minnie sandal.

One important note about Birks. Depending on the footbed and material in the upper, these puppies can take a bit of time to break in! Don't get a new pair of these and plan to wear them to WDW without giving your feet some time to adjust to/break in your new shoes! I love, love, LOVE my Birks, but new ones are NOT the easiest shoes on your feet. Once they're broken in, though...

They had these on Amazon a while back for about $129. I would have ordered some but they were a little bit rich for me when my Mickey Crocs were only about $30!!

I used to love my birkenstocks sandles. I can't wear them anymore since I have neuropathy and my feet go numb and I fall out of sandles without a backstrap.
I haven't seen any Birkenstocks with backstraps that are nice, they all remind me of the old ortopedic shoes.
Oh well, I can still wear my Crocs, luckily they have straps and are very comfortable when my feet are acting up.
