Dooney and Burke

Saw the Dooney and Burke thread with a link to photos of the new Disney bags. Hmmm, would any of our Pickles pay the big bucks for one of these?
http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blo...special-event/

I liked the first ones last year and these are cute too..but I would only carry it at Disney and that's a lot of money for maybe once a year.

Mia gave me a beautiful Dooney and Burke for Christmas with a small wristlet. I use the wristlet as a wallet right now b/c the bag seemed too Fall/Winter and winter is almost over here.

This one in red:

Then I bought this one in red on sale:

I had eggs and bacon for breakfast... buttermilk pancakes and eggs on Sunday or Monday....sigh...

It is so complicated - if I leave the pups to go downstairs to make something to eat, they will stand at the top of stairs waiting...Jackie will be barking b/c she is senile and confused easily.

Pickle juice?????????

Hrm... dunno what else to suggest to eat.

Never heard of Dooney and Burke. While they are cute, I would never use it. And you know how much I love Mickey.

I love the brown/beige one. I would carry it almost every day. I have a black microfiber Mickey bag that Brian got me for my birthday a couple years ago that I have carried every day, but it is getting worn. I don't think I would ever spend D&B cash for a bag though....I think the most I have ever spent on a pursw was $25. My Mickey one he got me was $40 which was a lot to me.

That being said, if anyone wants to GIVE me the Mickey D&B, I'll gladlt take and enjoy it. I'd just rather save the $$$ for a Disney trip than spend it on a Disney bag.

OK...Of to take Martina to rehearsal...be back later!

Supper!

Grilled Ham & Swiss on a Bagel Thin, a few low salt chips on the side, nice cold glass of water.

Meant to have added that Mia got the D&B on sale 50% off and the same for the one I bought.

It was nummie.

Have been thinking about what to get Mia for her birthday - at Christmas her sister-in-law sent her a box of dangle ones and Mia mentioned how she would like to have a similar set of pearl stud earrings. I found what seems to be a nice set on QVC - what do you think? She likes interesting colors - the latest reviews are very good.

http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/v...wb.item.J32635

If it doesn't come up go to www.qvc.com and put in item # J32635

Wow, I must have ordered the last pair b/c now it says sold out! Tell me your honest opinion b/c I can cancel within a couple hours of ordering.

Thanks!

Here's where I am getting her birthday cake:

http://delicious-cakes.com/index.html

Click on Sizes and prices, scroll to bottom...I will order the small size, but have it decorated on peach and green with "Happy Birthday, Mama". The photos do not do their cakes justice - they are gorgeous! Very European so not over sweet. Yum!

Not sure which flavor to order....hmm...
