We bought loads of souvenirs but the one i like best is that we bought the little book about the building of the Magic, and then got the fake Captain (Captain Tom when we were onboard) and the real Captain (Captain Mickey of course) to sign it.

That makes quite a cool souvenir. Plus the book is really interesting too.

We too did an ornament and had the Captain sign it. Ours was a Captain Mickey with a wreath. We'll definitely do that again. Next time theirs a model of the Magic (I think) that my husband wants to get and have signed by the Captain.

[QUOTE=Mom24Princesses;35515785]Our two must haves started back around 04.

I always get one or two coffee mugs at WDW or DCL with the year. Then back home I get that Disney feeling every morning!

AND DD # 4 has a huge collection of Mickeys and Minnie's in different attire. Every trip we search for a unique - maybe special edition of the great couple including ones from the ship. She has at least a dozen.[/QUOT

Oh and the more I thought about it the more I remembered.

On both cruises I came home with DCL beach towels. The are beautiful and we have enjoyed them often.

AND I always get a photo album with the year from DCL or WDW. We have one for every trip with the girls, even the shorter weekend trips. The girls love looking through them.

Sharpies

Do you use the "fine" or "ultra fine" sharpies on the pillow cases?

Fine point. Ultra fine is way too thin imho. We've done pillowcases 3x.

Favorite souvenir? By far, our grandson Maxwell! He's 6 now we'll be taking him on a Disney cruise on March 7th. Will that make this his first or second cruise???

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the DCL blanket throw. I picked up one on our last cruise and currently, this is my favourite souvenier.

I LOVE IT!! I just showed my 5 year old and he loves it. He's a little 'blankey-boy'. And since we told him about the cruise last November he spends time each day drawing pics of the ship. It's the perfect gift for him!
