Thank you so much. Actually, it's not that big of a camera. It's a 'bridge' camera...not as small as a point-and-shoot, but not a DSLR with interchangeable lenses, etc.

Some day maybe I'll move to DSLR camera, but for now, 3 things keep me happy with what I've got:

1. Price. This camera didn't cost a whole lot, and I don't need money for extra lenses.

2. Experience. I don't know all that much about photography. I'm learning, but I'm not there yet.

and the most important for me...

3. Portability. I don't want to lug around a separate camera bag. This camera is in my purse at all times, so I never miss a shot of the kids. On my Disney trips, I just wrapped it around my wrist, and away we went.

Yeah...I would. I love the snow and cold. Okay, I like the warm weather in Florida, too, but really, I'd rather be cold in Disney that hot any day. I'm wierd...

DAY 8 – HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS /ANIMAL KINGDOM AT NIGHT

Last year, one of our favorite days was the night we stayed for the EMH at the Animal Kingdom. Tonight was the only night they were having it this trip, so that was our plan.

We got in a full day of fun over at Hollywood Studios first.

Beauty and the Beast –

Around the park –

One Man’s Dream –

A sketch for an animatronic hand…

Then, it was over to Animal Kingdom for the evening hours. Besides riding Everest 10 times that evening, we also got to enjoy the park’s beauty at night.

Love all of your pictures. What camera do you have? I know you said it was a bridge camera but who makes it.

Computers...love 'em and hate 'em. Long story short: Laptop died while I was backing it up, and in the process I lost everything on it. Got a new one and just finished re-loading pictures, etc. So after a L-O-N-G break, I'm ready to finish my trip report.

And backing up my harddrive much more frequently.

I know you have heard this a few times, but your pictures are really great. I loved the pictures of the tigers. My wifes favorite animal.

I have to agree with you that the Animal Kingdom is a great park. I can't say it's my favorite, but it comes close. 10 times riding Everest....very nice.

I'm sorry to hear about your computer. I'm looking forward to seeing more pictures soon.

DAY 10 (cont.) - FORT WILDERNESS / WILDERNESS LODGE

After a great morning at the Magic Kingdom, we headed over to the Fort Wilderness Campground, one of my very favorite places.

Going horseback riding!

After the horseback ride and exploring the campground, we took the walking path over to Wilderness Lodge. All along the path, someone had made "Hidden Mickeys' out of different things...

We also saw some deer along the path...

We explored the Wilderness Lodge...

Then headed back to Fort Wilderness for the nightly campfire and movie...
