1 day in Epcot - Solo or Adults only trip
Listening to Epcot BGM on Live 365 this morning and suddenly I'm longing for a day at Epcot! And it got me thinking... if I had just one day in Epcot - but I was there solo or with one other adult, and it was a PM EMH day in mid-Feb (say.... the week after Presidents day weekend)..... Could I do and see everything? I would only really want to leave out Imagination and the Seas pavillions, because I frequent those when traveling with my son. If alone, I would probably not do a full sit-down meal, but prefer to graze around the showcase...
Anyone want to take a stab at describing their own perfect day at Epcot!? Feel free to change it to an AM EMH day if that's what you prefer.

I love EPCOT so I could spend from the time it opened at 9AM until the time it closed at midnight (PM EMH) in the park. I would do SSE, Nemo, Soarin', LWTL, TT, M:S, UofE. From this point I would head to the WS. Have lunch at Akershus. Then begin at Mexico and drink my way aroung the world. I wouldn't rush through each country though. I would have dinner at Le Cellier. After dinner, with the EMH, I would drink my way back to Mexico.
I'm 25 so I figure I am young enough to manage that sort of binge for a day. I actually plan on trying this in May. |

I am soooo excited about my adult only trip to Epcot next Saturday. I have the whole day planned out but its not an EMH day. I plan on arriving by rope drop 9am and grabbing some fast passes for soarin. Go ride TT and then right over to M:S. Skip UofE and finally get to really take some time to walk through Innoventions east and west and hopefully get on the Sum of all thrills. At some point get back to The Land and ride soarin. The Land ride is going to be closed for referbishment but I would like to see Honney I shrunk the audience and maybe even ride Figment since we missed it last time. We were just there at the begining of the month with little ones and we did The Seas w/Nemo and UofE so I'm okay with skipping those. I have us booked for lunch at Le Cellier at 1pm and dinner at Chefs de France for 8pm. I think around 12:30 we'll leave FW and start heading over to Canada. We plan on taking our time drinking and strolling through all the countries. Finally get to stop to check out the the entertainment like the beatles tribute band and the celtic rock band in Canada without being rushed along by the kids. Also I want to stroll through all the shops too. We plan on spending the rest of the day in WS up until our dinner reservations at 8. If we get out of dinner in time to see Illuminations we'll stay to watch but if not no biggie. After park closing we're walking over to the boardwalk to check out JellyRolls. It seems like the perfect day to me and I just can't wait till the 30th!!!

I just found out that I am going down in late March. My DW thought it would be a great chance for us to an adults only quick trip. We are only there for two days so we are going to DTD when we arrive and then doing Epcot the next day. It will be great to take time to stroll through World Showcase at our pace. We HOPE to some how snag a La Cellier dinner.
I am sure we will have some moments of sadness that the kids aren't with us, but we just went in December and plan to go back in September. My question is, with those who have done a trip and gone to the park for just one day what did you do about tickets? Just buy at the gate?
