Pop warner crowd questions answered!

If you all would like, I will let you know what the pop warner "crowd concern" ?'s look like everyday. Yesterday, Thursday, went to Epcot and I only saw 1 group of boys wearing jerseys.... the entire day. No cheerleaders. I will keep you posted, but my feeling is DO NOT LET THIS SWAY YOUR DECISION TO COME TO DISNEY THIS TIME OF YEAR. I've read so many posts about this, but so far not an issue! (Also please know I'm not "looking" for them either, I'm there enjoying my fam and sights!!)

I'll keep you posted!

Yes, you are lucky. Unfortunately, I stayed at POR (Dec 3-8) and it was awful. The first night was fine, but once they begain arriving on Friday, you couldn't even use the food court or the general store. The cheerleaders were exceptionally noisy. In the parks they were in groups, knocking over everyone as they passed by; didn't know enough to give up a seat on the bus for an elderly person to sit; and didn't care about the time when they returned to the resort screaming and yelling. Afterall, it is "all about them."

I wonder if they are taken into account in the Touring Plans. . . . ?

I was there Dec. 3 to 9. Really noticed them in the parks starting in the late afternoons - especially MK on Monday.

Just got back! I only noticed them Monday at MK. Also I found them all being very behaved that day. Other then that day I did not even notice them, but we stayed offsite.

Friday Pop Warner

I was at Epcot today and Downtown Disney tonight and they were all over the place and acting like a bunch of maniacs.

Hi everyone, I'm going up to WDW on sunday does anyone know when the pop warner crowd leaves? cause the last time I was there, there was some crazy cheerleaders thing going on and it was annoying and the fiance doesnt play well with others, so the annoying preteens running wild doesnt sit well with her.

they were not THAT bad IMO.
Saw SMALL spurts of them.
Had a large group of them at MVMCP, but mostly had adults with them.
They was a small group----NO adults, at Dumbo ride. They were being ignorant and RUDE. CM even told them they were breaking rules and the kids just laughed...
That was the only bad incident, though.

Tuesday at Hollywood Studios they were awful and Friday at MK pretty much the same.

My sister just got back from doing this and she told me that 4 different groups got kicked out during the week and weren't allowed to compete.

I saw a handful of Pop Warner kids this past week, and I have to say that they were much better behaved than I've seen some of them in previous years. Honestly, they had not effect at all on our park touring this week.

We saw them at DHS on Sat. and the only gripe was the line cutting. We were waiting in line for RnR and the chaperones kept yelling down as they saw members of their group. They waved in more than one small group of kids and adults to come join them in line...probably a total of 10-12 people got in front of us. It was very annoying! Our estimated wait time was originally 30 min., but it was actually closer to 50 min. We were wondering if this line cutting was the cause of the discrepancy.

No problems

We just returned from a fantastic week at Disney. Luckily, we stayed at the Bay Lake Tower so we didn't encounter any Pop Warner kids at the resort and I would say the only time I really noticed them was Friday at MK. Crowds were awesome the rest of the week at every park(and they really weren't THAT bad on Friday).
