Why didn't I read all those photopass question threads? - The DIS Discussion Forums

Now I am confused. I just went in 08. I thought I knew what I would be getting in my Magic Your Way package. I thought we got a coupon for one free PhotoPass photo when we got there.

Last time we were in a photopass share but since it is going to be a short trip the photopass offer isn't as appealing. I was hoping to take advantage of the one free photo while we are there but now I see it isn't offered. In my Magic Your Way package I have a card that reads "SIGN UP TODAY for special offers* from Disney PhotoPass Service". Under the list of * one is "Be on the lookout for big savings! We'll send you special offers via e-mail during and after your vacation!"

Anyone know what the special offers are?
What are the advantages in signing up before you go?

we still have not received our package but did get the email last week about "family name must see at Disney world" in the bottom was a link to the photopass with $50 saving. \\check to see if you receoived that.

they stopped the voucher? or you didn't book online? (or your TA didn't book online?) the voucher was only for online bookings.

I got the voucher for one free 5x7 in our packet. We are going Dec 3 and I received the packet beginning of November. We however did not receive the e-mail for the pre-order of the CD. Guess that saves us money as I won't be buying the CD - just getting the free photo!

I also registered our photopass card that they sent but haven't seen any offers yet. However ever since I did the online room check-in, I have seen 2 e-mails from Disney Destinations about our trip - no special offers though.

the link above mentions what the major difference with the travel document photopass is as well as how to possibly get the email if you didn't otherwise.

Was that included in with the other vouchers such as $15 off at Planet Hollywood, minature golf and 30 min arcade time? If so I wonder why yours would have it and mine doesn't?

I must say that I was very excited to see that we can now post our pictures on facebook. I

I see now. I missed the first comment. No I couldn't book on line because I was using a special certificate. I did book on line last year. That explains it. Thanks so much.

My TA booked on line and we did get the voucher for the free 5x7. I have not received the email to get the $50.00 off the CD on pre order. Am I correct in saying that I will not be getting this offer because I used a TA to book my trip? I thought I read that somewhere, but I am not sure.
