"I wonder where Robo watches Illuminatiions"?

Are you like me, and sometimes wake from a deep sleep wondering where Robo goes to watch Illuminations? I'd love to know, then maybe I could actually sleep thru the night for once.

I just saw a Robo map recently with color-coded highlights of where to watch Wishes. I can't remember which thread it was on but you should be able to do a search.

Thanks, I have copied Robo's Wishes map by hand to the back of my tickets. I'm wondering about "ILLUMINATIONS" though.

Ahhh, a question that has stumped philosophers, scholars, and prognosticators for many years. Pay attention to this thread and with any luck, you too will soon be enlightened.

There are so many places to view IllumiNations at Epcot's World Showcase
that are wonderful in their own way that its futile to try to list them, so I will.

• Bridge between UK and France
• Near the twin gift shops at the entrance to WS from FW
• Norway area
• Upper level (outside front terrace) of the Matsu No Ma Lounge in Japan
• Italy, near the Gondolas
• Mexico, at the outdoor Cantina
• Mexico, bridge to the right of oudoor Cantina (as you face the lagoon.)
• UK, the Rose & Crown outdoor dining area (ressies required.)
• UK, just to the left of the Rose & Crown (as you face the lagoon.)
• Many, many more great spots.

Be sure to avoid any tree branches that block your overhead view,
and watch out for any "islands" in the water
that block your view of the "center" of the lagoon.

Best Tip:
Don't stand down-wind of the fireworks.
Their SMOKE will ruin the show.

So, If the wind is blowing into your face as you look towards the Lagoon, you are in the wrong spot.

-----------------------

I have watched the show from most every spot listed above-

And, I have recorded the show with multiple video camera positions from many of those places.

I've edited together my version of "IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth"
that can be seen on YouTube. (Links below.)

I hope you enjoy it.

Legend says that surely Robo is at least part machine.
Having said that, I just saw that he was here, on these very Boards, at 4:19 this morning. Even a machine must rest at some point, right?

-------

EDIT:
WHOA!!!! Robo replied even as I was posting, he is machine afterall!

As always, thanks Robo. BTW, I can't believe someone who is registered here since 2002 didn't know who Robo was. Something else to keep me up at night.

Thanks Robo....and OP !!!

I was glad to see my "spot" on the list....

AH...but Robo reports many locations....did he elude the question about his "Favorite" ?????

I'll be looking for him on my next visit

(Maybe I can get WDW to print and sell "Where's Robo?" shirts!
