disney magic

Would like to know if anyone has stayed in Cabin 2135 on the Magic? Is it very noisy? Any additional comments would be appreciated.

We were in 2133 and 2131 on a recent cruise--it was a totally fine room. We had a group of 6 in the 2 rooms. I'm not sure what you're looking for. We've had bigger issues with noise from neighbors than we've ever had from a supposedly "noisy" room per the reports.

Both of our rooms had the double steamer trunks.

We got these rooms as an "upgrade" from a cat 12. We had no issues with engine noise except while the ship was docking, and every room has engine noise then!

The steamer trunk is a shelf unit that looks like the old fashioned trunks that people would take on a cruise or to college. They are on end and each contains 3 shelves--basically more storage in your room.

I would have to respectfully disagree with this statement, I have never had any engine noise on the rooms I have had. It is something limited to lower deck rooms and worse in the Aft.

I'll give you aft, but on our last cruise we were in 7136 (not a low deck!), and my friend was terrified by the engine noise as we were docking at Castaway. She was convinced that something was wrong with the ship as it was quite noisy for a very few minutes.

We just got upgraded to 2506 & noise was one of the things I worried about too. Then when kcashner said that you can hear the ship docking in any room, I remembered that even on deck 6 midship we could hear it. So I think it'll be fine. I hope! Honestly, we were hardly in our room anyway. So if the worst thing is I get woken up early on a port day, I can live with that I'll let you know when we return from our cruise in January!
