Narcossee and personalized menu's? - The DIS Discussion Forums

Hello,
My DH are going to Narcoosse's (spelling) to celebrate our 10th Anniversary next week. I have read they can do personalized menu's. Do I need to call to order them? Our Anniversary is noted on our reservation, if that matters. I'm going to call GF bakery to order a cake too.

We had to call them direct and speak to a manger.

We had it noted on our reservation that it was our anniversary and were suprised when we got there and had personalized menus.

1) Personalized menus are at the option of the eatery and the CM.
2) If there is time and initiative, they do them.
3) It is best to have requests noted on the ressie.
4) Calling does not help.
5) Be thankful if you get one, but not disappointed if you do not.

NOTE: All sit-down eateries can do personalized menus. But, there is no requirement to do so.

They can print them out while you're there, I think, but if you're thinking the way Coral Reef used to do them (and doesn't anymore) with names and photos and colors - I don't think any restaurant does that. You could get a printed menu with "Happy Anniversary" on it, and possibly your names - I had a couple of birthday ones, that were printed with "Happy Birthday" but no name or other personalization. No advance ordering, they printed them out on site.

Same here. We noted it on our reservation. We were so pleasantly surprised with personalized menus and a complimentary glass of champgane. It was a wonderful experience.
