time to sit and look at all the BF sales paper that came in my morning newspaper. Looking forward to having a nice meal today, watching the parade and Yes, hitting the MIchael's sale at 5:00pm.

DH is looking forward to eating and watching sports. What are you doing this Thanksgiving?

Getting ready to put the turkey in soon. Then I will be lazy for awhile. I do need to clean up the house a bit. We play games after the meal.

I just finished the hard boiled eggs and just put the chicken bones on for broth. The turkey isn't going in for a few more hours. We aren't eating until 4. DS has to work today so we are waiting until he gets off.

We're eating around 3 -- got a few more hours before Tom gets in the oven.

In preparation, I did clean out the fridge this a.m.....

I'm planning my day tomorrow -- not normally a black friday person, but need a laptop for DS.

I only have to make a salad so that will take all of 15 minutes

. DH just got out of the shower so I am going to see if he will go pick up a paper for me so I can pour though the ads.

Just finished walking for an hour. I'm getting ready to go over to my mother's to help her get lunch ready.

I'm in charge of desserts. I made a red velvet cake (I added chopped Hershey Bars to the icing!), pumpkin pie and chocolate chip cookies for the little ones.

I am waiting for my sister to get here and start the turkey(she has it) then she's taking me to the oncologist(even today) for a shot to boost my white blood count. Later, hope to relax, take the turkey to my DS's new house and have a wonderful meal with family.

I made most everything last night and now it needs to baked. I got the apple pie in the oven now and homemade marinara simmer on the stove for our appetizers.

Good luck at Michael's I hope you find everything you want! I LOVE black Friday!

DH is playing a video game but he's a sweety and is recording the parade for me so now I can watch it sans commercials.

The brined turkey is in the oven...first year I've ever done a brine, I used Alton Brown's recipe minus the ginger and added some savory. It smells great, I just hope its good!

We're sitting around watching PBS and DH is still sleeping. Once he gets up we're going to start the movie marathon. Later we are going to Cracker Barrel for dinner.

We(me,DBF,and DBF Dmom) are starting to cook at my place then we are heading to my Dmom house for the rest of the cooking....I love Thanksgiving, I love my family and I am glad that my future MIL is going to join in the dinner....

I got the Cricut bundle at HSN! I picked it up for a grand total of $297.00 with free shipping. Today, I am going to pick up carts for it. they are having them on sale for $27.99 and $34.99, plus today in their sale paper they have a coupon for 30% percent off including sale items.
