Downtown Disney vs WDW Parks - The DIS Discussion Forums

Just a quick question:

Is it cheaper to buy Disney merchandise in Downtown Disney vs buying it inside the WDW Parks?

If not, do you have any suggestion on what are the great buys in WDW Parks?

In DTD Mickey's Mart - everything $10 or less. I don't know if everything in the parks is available at DTD or if prices vary so I'll be interested in hearing answers too!

I have found that everything you can find at DTD you can usually find in the parks. I am a red sticker hunter - mark down items are always the same at DTD as in the parks - bought a purse at World of Disney marked to $14.99 and found the same one in a gift shop marked down in Hollywood Studios. I have also found that you can find more unique gifts in the parks than at DTD, or more to choose from, especially park specific clothing and merchandise (you can't find these at DTD). The only reason I would buy something at DTD is if I can use my 10% discount for my Annual Pass at World of Disney and it's something I saw at the parks already (like my Alice teapot).
