Celebrate a birthday - week early?

We will be at Disney at the end of March. My daughters birthday is April 3rd. Are we still able to celebrate it when we are there or does it have to be on the actual day?

Thanks for the help!

Absolutely. DH and I have both celebrated our 50th birthdays at Disney during our September trips (our birthdays are in January and December) because we can't go during our actual birthday or even close to our birthday.

Since WDW does not mind celebrating Halloween and Christmas early by having so many Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Parties and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parties weeks before those events actually take place, if you want to celebrate your daughters birthday a week early go ahead.

Dh and I are celebrating our honeymoon in a few days at WDW and we got married in 2006 but have not been able to get away to have a honeymoon until now...so I don;t think a week early is a big deal.

Hope your DD has a great time for her b-day (she was born on a great day...that's my DD b-day )

Last year when I was there for my BDay I celebrated it all week long!! Never left the room without my Birthday Button! I am going this year the day after and I will wear another button while I am there.

Great!

What's the best place to clebrate it?

Where do we get the button?

Do I just email Disney?

Thanks again for your help!

You can pick up the buttons either at your resorts Lobby Concierge desk or Guest Relations in the theme parks or Downtown Disney.

yes, you can tell them that it was a week ago but they will still bring a treat and have the restaurant or staff sing to you. At that Candy Shop at the Boardwalk (not sure what it is called) if you say that you are celebrating your birthday, then they will give you a free ice cream. For most of the restaurants if you just say your celebrating a birthday that is fine.
