Can the adults eat at table service but not the kids?
We are thinking about going to a few TS that I know the kids may not leat the food. I was thinking of feeding them before we go and then just my husband and I would order a meal. The kids can share with us if they like something on our plate.
Is this posible? If so how many TS credits will it cost? Is it only 2 because we only ordered 2 meals or will they count 4 because we are 4 at the table? |

In an actual table service restaurant, two credits. At a buffet or family-style service location, four credits whether the children eat or not.
Of course, if you have four people actually eating, any gratuity calculation should be made accordingly. |

If you are purchasing the DDP, you need to purchase it for everyone in your party for the each night of your stay. That means that the children will have TS credits to use. If they don't eat at the TS you eat at, when do you plan to use their TS credits?
Just a thought

All of the kids TS meals I have seen have been kid friendly-pizza, pasta, chicken or fish.
I don't know what restaurants you are planning, but the kids meals are not that expensive and if you are on the DDP, what are you going to do with the extra credits? |

I would be concerned about what the kids would do for 60 to 90 minutes while you are eating. Seems like it is asking for trouble.

You can do this if you are not attending a buffet or all you can eat restaurant. Everyone pays at those, regardless of whether or not they intend to eat anything.
However, you will have children's TS credits left over that you need to use - and they can only be used to buy children's menu meals. Do you have plans to attend extra restaurants where the adults will pay cash and the children use credits? When you say "feed the kids before we go" do you mean at other table service restaurants? That sounds like it would mean spending a good chunk of your touring day in restaurants.

Yhanks, we will be paying out of pocket for 1 meal at SCI-FI so thought that this may be a good place to use the kids TS credits since I know that they will eat here.
