Funnel cake for a snack credit

anywhere in the World? Funnel cake is DD's & my secret indulgence. Can it be had for a snack credit anywhere? We always seem to be around the American Experience when we get the craving & pay for it.

I am sure I read here that there is a place in MK in Liberty Square where you can get them for a snack credit - doesn't mean they haven'd changed that. I know you can't use a snack credit at Epcot.

I got two powdered sugar funnel cakes at Sleepy Hollow in MK for snack credits on Nov. 8. They're SO yummy!

I have first hand knowledge that in Epcot by the American Adventure you can NOT get a funnel cake for a snack credit. We were there on October 19th. We had to bite the bullet and pay cash because they smelt soooooo gooooood!

jjohnson has a sticky at the top of this forum with all of the items you can get as a snack credit at Disney. The list is unofficial, as our methods of maintaining it are dis'er experience, but it's still amazingly accurate.

You may want to check it out if you have a chance. She works very hard to keep the list current, and I seem to remember some recent changes to the funnel cakes availability in Liberty Square. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2067447

When we were there this august, the posted menu at Sleepy Hollow did not have the DP snack logo beside the funnel cakes. I paid OOP, however, I have read some posts after that date that indicate being able to count it as a snack credit. I never asked that day, so maybe you still can get it with some servers, just don't count on it. It is the cheapest place to buy one if you have to pay oop. They are served at the American Adventure kiosk and also on the boardwalk. I don't know of anywhere else off hand. Not that I'm tracking them or anything

i wanted to get a funnel cake as a snack credit like i did in January, and they even gave us free strawberries and whipped cream! Eating with the castle behind us was amazing, with the icicle lights on! I just got back from my late Oct. trip and it no longer was a snack!!!! UGH! I wonder why it was ok in Nov?

I think maybe it depends on the CM at Sleepy Hollow, I didn't ask first, just ordered and then handed my card to the CM. We trekked over to the castle while nibbling and finished them off during Wishes. Awesome. If I hadn't been in public I'd have licked the plate.

It's almost worse than that, it's ok dependent on the CM on the day. In the snack credit sticky jjohnson has it noted that it's about 50/50 on whether or not it's a credit.

In a way, it's probably fortunate that it's even 50/50. I have a hunch if the CM's were strict about Disney's rule it wouldn't be a credit 100% of the time.
