So if I wanted to visit the Parks for 11 days...

I would have to buy a 10- day pass and a 1- day pass? I'm thinking I need to relax on the 11th day instead of paying that high one-day price.

It would probably be cheaper to buy an annual pass if you are going for that long.

But after thinking about it....the annual passes are far more expensive. See what happens is you have a pass good for a whole year, so you can go back more often since you don't have to buy tickets. I love my annual pass!

I think you can buy a length of stay pass - we had that for our honeymoon and was there for 11 days. That was back in 2005 though, so I don't know if things have changed since then.

I wouldn't pay the extra for just one day.. You could use that day to rest; explore the other resorts; ride around on the monorail; check out Fort Wilderness; etc..

I agree. I would buy the 10 day pass and spend one day going to Disney Village or seeing the resorts or participating in resort activities or chilling at the pool.

I agree with a couple of the PPs ... I would check out resorts and hang by the pool ... give the feetsies a little rest.

We typically don't buy a pass for the first day we arrive or the last day of our trip. We like to relax and rest up after our trip and before we leave at the resort or at DTD.

You could add the water park and more option (the last time I got it it was $55 no matter how long your tickect was for--but I don't know the current price). It gives you one entrance to a water park, Disney Quest or (somethign else sorry, I forget what) for each day of park tickets but you do not have to use them the same day. So you could buy a 6 day pass plus the waterpark and more option if you wanted to spend 5 days at only a water park or only Disney quest (no thanks). But for the minimal cost that gives you something to do on your off day (you may want to go to both a water park and Disney Quest) and the option of spending part of some park days at one of the places as well.

All of that said--we like to take a day off in between to enjoy the resort hotels, swim, etc.

Just to be clear, you don't have to use a 10-day pass for 10 days in a row, so you can take your "day off" in the middle somewhere. Passes expire 14 days after first use.

MAJOR ditto!

Heck, we dont go to the parks several days if we are saying that long . We buy 10 day non-expiring, so they last for atleast 2 trips. I like to have pool/relaxing/shopping days - makes the park days even better!

Have a blast!

There is so much to do outside of the parks you could easily spend a day touring the resorts and doing some of those other things. I would wait for the 11th day though, I'd throw it in the middle as a rest day. I love WDW but I wouldn't be able to do 11 consecutive days there.

Keep in mind when getting an AP that you are eligible for other discounts such as dining and merchandise. Factor that in to the decision and also if you will be going back at all within a year. I'm pretty sure the pass is now good for more than 12 months also. I heard something about that but it may have a residency limitation.

Whatever you choose enjoy the trip.

When we went for 12 days we had two days off. Did laundry in the morning, headed to downtown disney and really just relaxed. It was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle and have some us time.

This is what I was going to say. There's lots of non-park stuff to do. I love visiting various resorts, and I love shopping at DTD! I would definitely plan to take your "day off" somewhere in the middle. That way you're less likely to get burnt out on parks by the end, and I don't know about you, but on our last day, we're park hopping all over the place, trying to cram in a few last rounds on our favorite rides.
