Picnic in the Park changes

http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/guide...k-overview.htm

11/25/09 There have been several changes to the Picnic in the Park process. You will be able to order until 2:30 daily. Tier 1 picnics will now be picked up from DinoBites, located near Restaurantosaurus. Tier 2 will now offer rotisserie chicken and will be picked up from Kusafiri Coffee Shop near Tusker House restaurant. You will now be able to create a grab and go bag at Beastly Bazaar witha choice of sandwiches, bags of potato chips, desserts and water.

As far as I recall Tier 2 already did offer rotisserie chicken, so I am assuming that means they will be offering only rotisserie chicken and are discontinuing the ham.

I am wondering if they are offering it whole instead of in pieces.

Thanks for posting this info. It's good to know now as it puts a little wrinkle in our plans. We were planning to order a combination of tier 1 and tier 2 meals (you know, meal for 3 of tier 1 and then a separate meal for 2 of tier 2). That won't work very well if we can't pick them up at the same place. hmmmm. . .

Can't figure how they'd portion a whole chicken. One chicken for two people? How many chickens for three people? Or five people? Those chickens are usually pretty small but I don't think they're a single serving.

Maybe the previously offered chicken wasn't rotisserie, but I thought it was when I ate it, that was the whole point behind picking it up at Kusafiri - the chickens are cooked at Tusker House.

I'll take a ride over in the next couple of days and see what I can find out.

I'll probably be there on the 4th myself...Fortunately I was not planning on getting ham, and a whole chicken might be cool but then I might have to fight my friends over the white meat.

I'm now picturing families tearing apart the chicken themselves. Chaos ensues.
