*Facebook Question*(Important I can't log-in!)

First off...Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!

Ok I am going crazy... I've had a facebook account since 2006 and I'm not a HUGE facebook user, I'll log on maybe 1 time a week or so. So its not the end of the world.. except now I haven't been able to log in for 2 weeks.

Heres the deal and before anyone says to look under HELP! etc. I've done *everything and anything* and have not gotten anywhere.

-I signed up in 2006 using my college email address.
-Since then I no longer have access to my college email address and I have even contacted the school to reactivate it to help me.
-I've tried on several occasions to change the login email address to a personal email account.
-I tried logging in like normal about 2 weeks ago and couldn't get in.. NO MATTER WHAT.

I'm affraid my account has been hacked(but everything looks normal when I had friends check it out). So thats good.

The ONLY thing that is a problem is I had a friend look at my account.. it no longer shows a "contact email" in my info. section. Which is weird because facebook requires a contact email which was my college email address..because trying to change it to a personal never worked.

I have done EVERYTHING:
-filled out a hacker form under the HELP! section
-filled out an email address retrieval form
-filled out a forgotten password
-filled out a random form that let me write in a statement because facebook has no phone # etc.

I'm mad because NO one has gotten back to me from facebook, *ALL* I want is why I can't get into my account.
I want to make sure that no one has hacked into my account.
My account is still sitting there and is LIVE when you look me up.
I dont want to create a new account and lose everything I've had especially since my account is STILL there!!

I don't know what else to do.. I can't get in.. no one is getting back to me etc.
Like I said its not the end of the world--I'd just like to have the satisfaction of everything being ok w/my account and that I can log-in once again, even change my password and just everything go back to normal.

I can't understand why my account/profile is STILL sitting there.. and I have no idea why I can't even get in

Has this happened to anyone.. or does anyone know SOMEONE in facebook that I can contact ?

Sorry to vent, its just now going on 2-3 weeks! I want everything to just go back to normal!!

I think I would delete the current account and open up a new one with your current email address. :~)

Hello--thanks for the advice but unfortunately that is the whole problem!! lol

I *CANT* even get into my account to delete it..let alone access it.
You need to be able to access your account to delete it.

So my account is STILL in existence but I can't get in!
I don't want to have to re-create an account if I dont have to--ill lose all my friends and photos etc. And the reason I didn't recreate an account yet either is because *my* account has actually not gone anywhere.

Are you trying to log in with the old email/password or the new email you tried to change it to? Are you sure your password is correct. I'm sure you know it but FB's login is case sensitive so be sure you have all the correct capital/lower case letters.

Sounds like it could have been hacked.

I think there is a "my friends account had been hacked" link that maybe a friend could contact for you. Or post to the help page.

Have you cleared all your cookies?

I know it is all obvious dumb stuff but 1/2 the time it is somthing dumb!
