Who has the best soft pretzels out of the four parks?

I love, love, love soft pretzels, but not the "unique ones," just plain old salted pretzels (I do like the cheese sauce though). I don't want any spicy pretzels or anything like that. Thoughts please.

The pretzels at any of the carts are exactly the same. The only difference that you'll find in pretzels is Germany and I believe Norway. All are very good.

I mean this from the nicest place in my heart , but you should stop worrying so much about every single last detail about every CS and snack. It's vacation at Disney - it's all good.

They are now all the same as far as I know.

Germany used to have really nice fresh hot buttery pretzels, but that was a long time ago.
They were amazing, better then Auntie Anne's Pretzels.

Unless it has changed in the last year, I asked the women working at the cart what happened to the nice pretzels they used to have and she said they all get them from the same place now.
She was as unhappy about it as I was. As she said, "there is nothing like a real German pretzel."

I was there in October and got a pretzel at the Sommerfest cart and it was not any better.

Thanks for the opinons so far.

And Tricia, I appreciate your "nicest place in your heart" comment. And I truly believe you weren't being derrogatory; however, I will say that I think most of us enjoy the disboards because you can ask all kinds of questions, little or big, and get all kinds of responses that you can then sort through. We leave for our trip next week and I have been keeping a little card with questions I wanted to ask for some time now. I just got some time this afternoon to start posting them, which is why I am posting a lot at once. I haven't posted any questions in ages. And honestly, I'm not obsessing, Im just enjoying my pre-party planning. It helps me get excited and geared up for my trip. I could easily find many of these answers myself once I am there, but I have almost as much fun planning during the days, weeks, and months leading up to our trip as I do when I'm there. I think most of us here understand that :0)
I hope that people who are responding to these posts are responding partly to help and partly cause its fun to visit the boards regularly when you have a trip coming up.
I will have a blast...and I'll bring all my tips and advice with me to make my vacation just a little more enjoyable.
Thanks. Happy Holidays :0)

Germany was the only place I have noticed a different pretzel. I like the ones in the cart from Pooh in MK and the one outside the Great Movie Ride in HS.

My dh LOVES the pretzels at MK's Scuttle's Landing in Fantasy Land. Now, mind you, his favorite is the cream cheese variety, but I'm assuming the plain are quite good too. Good luck!

While the pretzels might be the same at most of the carts, there's nothing better than getting one at Animal Kingdom from the cart near the Beastly Bazaar and then enjoying it at a table looking over the little lake/pond towards Expedition Everest. Pure delight.

My fave was at AK near the safari.
The park had just opened and they were hot and fresh--it was a good breakfast instead of a bagel or muffin. DH and DS get the sweet ones at Norway for breakfast.

Enjoy your trip!

We always end up getting one outside of the Land at Epcot, I guess because DD never really likes her lunch at Sunshine Seasons (that, or she saves room!). They have always been hot and salty, with a nice warm cheese sauce. Warning -- you can use a snack credit for the pretzel AND the cheese sauce, but you're better off using the snack for the pretzel and paying $1 OOP for the cheese. That's what we do!

I like soft, hot pretzels too, but I am not a fan of those they serve in the parks. I do love Wetzel's Pretzels at DTD though, and that is the only pretzel I will eat at WDW.

All the plain pretzels we saw in the parks (since you don't want fancy ones) were the same national brand, which is also available in supermarkets frozen and sometimes sold at the mall or the bowling alley or whatever. Their logo is yellow and red letters on black. (Just looked it up ... it's SuperPretzel.)

I like them a lot, much better than Auntie Anne's, which I find too sweet. I haven't had Wetzel's Pretzels.
