In-Room Safe

I am staying at ASMo and I am wondering how big the in-room safe is? Can it fit a laptop? Trying to decide whether or not to bring it with.

This may have been asked but I might have missed it in the threads.

Thanks!

Doubtful that you could fit a laptop. If I remember correctly, the safe is about 10-12 inches wide (I was able to fit a standard envelope with a little room to spare); about 2-3 inches thick; and about 8 or so inches tall.

I've read about people fretting over whether or not their laptop will get stolen but I really don't think it happens that often. If you're really worried, maybe you could put it in a smaller, empty suitcase and secure the zipper with your TSA approved lock.

Thanks for the info and suggestion. Maybe I should just buy one of those netbooks.

Laptop in a safe

Don't know about the ASMo, but last year my 15" Macbook Pro fit into the room safe at the Poly.

One of the few differences between Value and Deluxe resorts. Everything's bigger at a Deluxe resort.

That looks about right. My husband's netbook fit no problem, but a full-size laptop would not have.

This is my 15'' MBP in the safe at POP. I would assume your laptop should fit.. unless it is bigger than 15''

Thanks for all of the great responses. Now I just have to wait for my husband to stop waffling.
