Canceling Excursion When Only 2 days before Cruise on Wonder

Hi Everyone,

We are currently at DisneyWorld at BCV (crowds are crazy here, have never been at this time of year.. . all I can say is WOW). Our cruise leaves Wedn on Wonder and we had pre-booked parasailing for my ds. But since we have gotten here, he has decided he would rather spend his "fun" money at DW. And since we are on a limited budget, I was thinking of cancelling the parasailing.

However, when I went into the DCL reservation system I see you can't make changes from 3 days out. This our first Disney cruise and I was not aware of this rule. Can I still cancel or am I obligated to this tour?

I was hoping to know before tomorrow and so I know if I can make DS's water park wish come true. Weather is good, he saw Summit Plummit and was like I'd rather have 6 hrs of that then 8 minutes of parasailing.

Wish we could do both but with dh just back to work after a year's lay off we had to cut a few corners to keep our yearly vacation plan. And just being on board Wonder sounds like it would be fun if nothing else.

Any other thoughts for low cost Castaway Cay fun? I was thinking of trying the snorkeling since me and DS have never done this and I thought he'd think it was cool. He's not a very strong swimmer though and I was worried about how difficult he would find it? I am guessing you can always rent a tube and kid's club probably has some activities planned.

Maybe go to the cruise desk at your hotel and ask them? They can probably help you.

I know you can't make changes on line within the 3 days but I thought you could cancel an excursion with a 3 day notice. Depending on when your excursion is, you may still have time. I would check with the cruise desk at your resort.

Not sure about cancelling the excursion, but since you're looking for some lower cost things to do at Castaway Cay, how about the Aqua Trike or Paddle boats? We did both of these on our Castaway Cay day. They were so much fun, and at a budget price.

I have canceled excursions at the excursion desk.
