PI Questions...
So I'm planning on applying for some of the event PIs when I graduate... I've looked and looked and looooked, but I've hardly seen any information about people doing one..I was wondering if anyone on here has done/ knows someone/ or about to start an event internship, could you give me some information about it?
![]() one more question... I'm going to graduate in Fall 2011. I know I can apply that fall for the spring internships (Spring 2012), but if I don't get it, can I apply for the fall internships too (Fall 2012)? I wasn't sure how long they let people apply after they graduate thanks! |

Some PIs give you up to 18 months after graduation to apply (usually the animal programs PIs). However, my guess is that the event internships are pretty popular so they probably only allow those currently enrolled in school. Sorry!

How does this work if you're going to be doing the CP first?
I'll graduate May 2010, applying for the CP Fall 2010. Assuming I get accepted to the CP, afterwards I'm hoping to apply to some of the PIs that require the CP. Are there other rules for the CP-to-PI track regarding being out of school? Thanks. |

When you are doing the CP you are still considered a "student" according to Disney.
I graduated in Spring 08, did the CP fall 08 and a PI spring 09. One thing that did pop up, you can only do internship programs for 1 consecutive year. During my interview process they had to confirm that I did fall NOT FA, because apparently if I had done FA then I would become ineligible for some PIs since that year date would overlap. Just something to be aware of.

I don't know if that is completely accurate on the Advantage side, because I signed up for Spring Advantage CP '08 and transitioned into Fall '08 PI. I got to end my CP two months early (June instead of August) because it's a 'promotion.'
The only problem I ran into was that they didn't want to let me go to the Spring CP Graduation. I did eventually cry my way in though.

I was talking about FA, not SA; SA is different.
